All models with manual transmission are fitted with an Eco Drive Indicator, which shows you the best time to change gear. Intelligent Stop and Go (ISG), which comes on the 1.6 GDi model, is perfect for urban driving. It ll switch off the engine when you put your car in neutral and lift off the clutch, restarting it instantly when you de-press the clutch, ready to move off. The ix35 is available with a powerful yet efficient 1.6 litre GDi petrol engine (2WD), delivering a power output of 133 bhp and CO 2 emissions as low as 149 g/km*, which drop to 139 g/km on the 1.7 CRDi diesel model. The diesel engine range consists of the 1.7 litre CRDi 114 bhp (2WD) and 2.0 litre CRDi 134 bhp (4WD) engines. The 2.0 CRDi 4WD is equipped with an advanced torque on demand 4WD system.
