Only requirements: A current active license And an Internet connection Updating the DS tool has never been so easy! 1. The DS tool automatically detects when an update is available and starts to download the update software. 2. When the download is complete, the user is prompted when re starting the software to complete the update installation. The user can carry on using its tool during the download without interrupting its activity. Installation DVDs are not available to update the DS tool. The software is available to download from the Delphi Service operation website Please contact your local service operations team for assistance 1

Covering up As a step in our continuous work to complete the database for old models and requested functionality, we have updated models in Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Jeep, Mercedes, Opel/Vauxhall, Renault, Subaru and Volvo, year model 2000 and older. Injector coding More than 1000 models and engines have been updated with injector programming functionality in a range of 17 brands. Freeze Frame What is Freeze Frame Data? (FFD) FFD is a snap shot in time from when a fault code is generated. FFD is a function in the DS software that allows the user to read and review various data parameters at the point the ECU logged the fault code.* Linking with fault codes freeze frame data has more than doubled over the last two years. This increased detail information to each fault code enables more accurate result and a faster analysis and repair of the electronic system. Particulate filters More than 200 models and engines in a range of 11 brands have been updated with functionality to maintain, regenerate and reset Diesel particulate filters. * Manufacturer specific functionality, not all data is shown against all codes 3

6 The old Mini VCI was discontinued 3 years ago with the introduction of the new VCI. We have supported this product with both updates and repairs. In 2016, we no longer accept orders for a yearly license on this product as no more software updates will be available from December Any software licenses still live on this hardware will receive updates until November IMPORTANT From June 1st 2016, repairs for the Old Mini VCI will no longer be offered.
