3 Wild Africa Wild Africa with the different kinds of wild animals is a very interesting area to explore. The Aborigines who live according to nature worship it with dance, playing drums, masks and body painting. We will look closer at the wild nature and will observe African animals with all their habits and needs. What kinds of animals live in Africa? How do these animals survive in the wild nature? What kind of people live in Africa? Are these people same as us? We will travel to Cernosice forest as an expedition to African safari. We will learn more about the African animals and will play games with some of them. If we are successful we will bring a trophy a tiger s tooth.
4 Land of Ice The children will learn about the ice land of Greenland. They will find out the circumstances of life in such a land. Ice, igloos, fishing, canoes, polar days and nights, aurora borealis this is everyday life of the Eskimos. Who are the Eskimos? How do they build their igloos? What is polar day and night? What is aurora borealis? How is the life with ice all around? Trip to Berounka where we will try some fishing. We will buy some ice-cream and enjoy the polar snack. Another week we will have a melting day in the school. We will melt ice cubes with salt and food coloring it is going to be a master piece.
5 Magics, Tricks and Illusions! The children will try to be magicians. They will learn few magics and will learn about the key skills of a real magician take the focus off the trick, make people see and think what you want. Success guaranteed! How are some tricks done? What are magicians secrets? What is a visual illusion? How can our brain deceive us? We will have a special magic day in the garden. The children can show the tricks they learn and a grown-up magician will have his small magic show.
6 Secrets of Desert The children will be travellers who explore a desert. We will see pyramids, camels, hieroglyphs and mummies. We will play with sand a lot and will try to build a pyramid. Also wrapping a mummy will be part of our programme. What is and was the life in desert? What were the pyramids built for? Who are the famous mummies? Why can camels survive in desert so long? What are hieroglyphs and what do they mean? We will go to Vonoklasy, where we will try to be archaeologists.
7 Watermelon, yum! Did you know that 92 % of watermelon is water and that watermelon is a special kind of berry? We will learn lots of interesting things about watermelons. We will also see recipes we can do with watermelon in the kitchen. Is it a fruit or vegetables? What can you find inside of watermelons? How do the watermelons grow? How do we make watermelon popsicles? How do we make watermelon smoothie? We will have watermelon party in the garden. Watermelon refreshment is matter of course and then also games with watermelon. Have you ever played watermelon bowling?
8 Circus Acrobats, clowns, animals with special tricks and fanfares. This is going to be a big parade of different acrobatic exercise and special tricks with tame animals. We will try to walk on a line, juggle, jump through a fire ring and more! What is a circus? What can you see in the circus? How are some tricks done? Why do we laugh at the clowns? How do the artist juggle? We will go to Mokropsy playground and try some circus acrobatic tasks.
