4 Overview What is NursingCAS? Similar to services offered in most other health professions, CAS offers students a convenient way to apply to nursing programs nationwide. Students only need to prepare one electronic application and one set of corresponding materials (i.e. references, essays) to be disseminated to one or multiple schools for consideration. NursingCAS verifies the application components for accuracy, calculates grade point averages, and sends materials to schools selected by the applicant.

5 FAQs What levels of nursing programs will be included in NursingCAS? NursingCAS facilitates applications to all types of registered nursing programs, including diploma, associate degree, baccalaureate, master s, and doctoral programs. Is there a fee for schools to participate? No Participating schools will receive a free copy of WebAdMIT software needed to receive and sort applications. Not all CAS services offer this free.

Step One: Submit an Intent to Participate Agreement Agreements are non-binding; no fees charged Registration is encouraged by February 28 Schools may join throughout the year Those registering early will be first to receive technical support and assistance needed to maximize the benefits of this service
