6 Preface The Informatica Cloud Customer 360 Analytics User Guide explains how to install Cloud Customer 360 Analytics (CC360 Analytics) and collect statistics related to your Salesforce records, and the performance of the CC360 jobs. 9 C H A P T E R 1 Introduction to Cloud Customer 360 Analytics This chapter includes the following topics: Cloud Customer 360 Analytics Overview, 9 Sharing Data with Informatica Global Customer Support, 9 CC360 Analytics User Interface, 10 Cloud Customer 360 Analytics Overview Cloud Customer 360 (CC360) Analytics is a lightweight Salesforce.com application that analyzes how the records are synchronized with Cloud Customer 360 (CC360), and the details, the performance, and the status of the CC360 and Data as a Service (DaaS) jobs. Use CC360 Analytics to get information on the data usage and a 360-degree view of the source records. CC360 Analytics runs on your Salesforce organization. CC360 Analytics uses the CC360 Analytics job to analyze your Salesforce environment and collect information related to the distribution of records across the Salesforce objects and the number of synchronized, duplicate-checked, cleansed, and consolidated records. Use the CC360 Analytics to analyze the CC360 and DaaS jobs for information about the number of records processed and the successful and failed jobs. You can share information with Informatica Global Customer Support to help resolve your technical issues and receive guidance on optimal CC360 settings based on your requirement and usage. You can also send feedback or comments about CC360 Analytics to Informatica Global Customer Support. Sharing Data with Informatica Global Customer Support You can choose to share the aggregate analytical data and the CC360 custom settings with Informatica. When you share the data, Informatica Global Customer Support can analyze your data to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and recommend optimal CC360 settings based on your Salesforce environment. When you enable sharing of the analytical data, the data is shared each time the CC360 Analytics job runs. You can share the CC360 custom settings at any time. 9

10 CC360 Analytics shares the following aggregate analytical data: Total number of the standard and nonstandard Salesforce objects, such as account, contact, lead, and custom objects. Number of records that are duplicate checked, consolidated, cleansed, and soft deleted. Number of beans and master beans. Total number of ultimate parents and hierarchies. Names of the top five hierarchies along with their ultimate parents and the number of nodes in the top five hierarchies. For each job, the number of times the job ran, the maximum and the minimum job duration, the total number of records processed, number of records processed successfully, and number of records the job failed to process. CC360 Analytics shares the following CC360 custom settings: Matching settings Performance settings Job schedules Synchronization settings Segment settings CC360 settings CC360 Analytics User Interface The CC360 Analytics user interface has a left pane and a center pane. The dashboard is the landing page of the CC360 Analytics user interface. Contact Informatica Global Customer Support for the CC360 Analytics package URL and password. Access the CC360 Analytics package URL to install CC360 Analytics in your Salesforce environment. You can install CC360 Analytics in your production or sandbox environment. The installation process installs the CC360 Analytics package and performs a first run of the analytics batch job to aggregate the values for analytics. The installation process might take a few minutes to complete, depending on the number of beans that the job has to process. You can monitor the progress of the analytics job from the Running Jobs section of the CC360 Jobs page. You will receive an notification on successful installation of the CC360 package and the initial execution of the analytics job. Before you Begin Before you install CC360 Analytics, you must have installed CC360 Summer 2015 version 6.3 or later. You need the package URL and a password to install CC360 Analytics. Contact Informatica Global Customer Support for the password. 12

13 Installing CC360 Analytics CC360 Analytics is available as a package that you can install in your production or sandbox environment. 1. Log in to the Salesforce site of your organization. 2. Copy and paste the CC360 Analytics package URL in the browser. For a sandbox environment, replace the first portion the link from to The following image shows the installation screen: 3. In the Install CC360 Analytics page, enter the password. 4. Select the type of user who can access CC360 Analytics. 5. Click Install. After a successful installation of CC360 Analytics, CC360 Analytics sends a notification to Informatica Global Customer Support. CC360 Analytics uses Salesforce service to send the notification . Adding the CC360 Analytics Tab You can access CC360 Analytics from your CC360 environment. Add the CC360 Analytics tab to your Salesforce set of tabs to launch CC360 Analytics from your Salesforce user interface. 1. On the Salesforce user interface, click the plus (+) icon to edit the tabs. 2. On the All Tabs page, click Customize My Tabs. Installing CC360 Analytics 13

14 The following image shows the Customize My Tabs screen: 3. Select Cloud MDM from the Custom App list. 4. Select CC360 Analytics from the Available Tabs list and click the Add arrow icon to add it to the Selected Tabs list. 5. Optionally, use the Up and Down arrows to change the order of the tabs on the CC360 user interface. 6. Click Save. The CC360 Analytics tab appears in the CC360 environment. The following image shows the CC360 Analytics tab created on the Salesforce user interface: CC360 Analytics Upgrade CC360 Analytics displays a notification in the dashboard when a new version of CC360 Analytics is available. Contact Informatica Global Customer Support for the CC360 Analytics package URL and password. If a new version of CC360 or CC360 Analytics is available, a notification appears in the dashboard. The notification remains until you upgrade to the new version. You can close the notification for the rest of the day, so that it does not appear whenever you view the dashboard. Access the CC360 dashboard, the CC360 analytics page, the DaaS page, the settings page, and the feedback page from the left pane. When you click an item in the left pane, the right pane displays information about your selection. Access CC360 Analytics from the CC360 Analytics tab on your Salesforce user interface. View the information related to DaaS jobs such as the analytical information and the job details. Settings. Manage the CC360 Analytics job and its schedule. Feedback. Send feedback or comments about CC360 Analytics to Informatica Global Customer Support. Home icon. Navigate back to the CC360 user interface. Help icon. View the online help. 18 Note: If you have any running jobs, CC360 Analytics user interface displays the Running Jobs report with details of the running jobs. CC360 Analytics Dashboard The CC360 Analytics dashboard is a collection of reports that provide analytical information about your CC360 environment. The dashboard displays the following information: Data about your standard and nonstandard Salesforce objects, such as accounts, contacts, leads, and custom objects. Details of the running CC360 jobs. Analytics related to the CC360 jobs. Details of the CC360 jobs. Upcoming schedules. 19 The following image shows the dashboard: Note: If a new version of CC360 or CC360 Analytics is available, a notification appears in the dashboard. Data about Salesforce Objects The pie chart displays the distribution of the bean records across the standard and nonstandard Salesforce objects. Different colors are used to differentiate the objects. The reports for the objects display the following information: Number of bean records of the each object type, such as accounts, contacts, leads, and custom objects. For each object type, the percentage of records that are synchronized with CC360 Increase in the percentage of records processed between the previous and the current run of the CC360 Analytics job. To access the detailed information, click the More Info link of any of the four Salesforce objects. CC360 Analytics Dashboard 19

20 The following image shows the details of the account object: You can view the number of records that are checked for duplicates, cleansed, and consolidated. For each source system, the data also displays the following information: Percentage of records or beans that are checked for duplicates. Percentage of records or beans that are cleansed. Percentage of records or beans that are consolidated. Configuring the Objects in the CC360 Analytics Dashboard You can add or remove the objects that are displayed in the CC360 Analytics dashboard. You can also change the display order of the objects. 1. Click the Home icon ( 2. Select your name and click Setup. ) to access the CC360 user interface. 3. Under App Setup, select Develop > Custom Settings. The Custom Settings page appears. 4. Select Manage for Header Objects List. The Custom Setting Header Objects List page appears. 5. Click Edit for the object that you want to configure. The Header Objects List Edit page appears. 6. To remove the object from the CC360 Analytics dashboard, under the Header Objects List Information section, in the Order field, enter 0. The value 0 deletes the object from the dashboard. 7. To change the display order of the object, enter a numeric value based on the total number of objects that you have in your organization. 20 Chapter 3: CC360 Analytics User Interface

Running Jobs The Running Jobs report displays the currently running jobs and the number of records that the jobs process. The following image shows the Running Jobs report: CC360 Job Analytics The CC360 Job Analytics report displays the historical analysis of the performance of the CC360 jobs. You can specify the CC360 jobs that you want to analyze. Get information about the records processed by the specified jobs and which jobs succeeded or failed. A line graph shows the records processed by the specified CC360 jobs. A bar graph shows the number of times the specified CC360 jobs ran successfully or failed. You can get the analytics for the CC360 jobs on demand. You can specify the jobs and the time frame for which you want to analyze the CC360 jobs. You can choose what jobs you want to always monitor. You can collect information about the number of records processed by the specified jobs and the number of times the jobs ran successfully or failed. 1. In the left pane, click Dashboard. 2. In the CC360 Job Analytics report, select the check boxes next to the jobs whose performance you want to analyze. 3. Select the timeline to view the statistics. 4. Click Execute. 22 Recent CC360 Job Details, Upcoming Schedules, and Source Records Reports The Recent CC360 Job Details report displays details of the ten most recent CC360 jobs, such as number of records processed, the time taken for each job to complete, and the status of each job. You can also view the job status, the number of items processed, and the number of errors for each CC360 job. You can click the error link and view the job log to get more information about the error. The Upcoming Schedules report displays the list of jobs scheduled to run. The Source Records report lists the number of source records or beans and the number of source master records or master beans. The report lists the percentage increase in the records since the previous run of the CC360 analytics job. When the CC360 Analytics job is run for the first time after the installation of the CC360 Analytics package, you can see what percentage of the total data storage is occupied by the bean and the master bean records. Source Records The Source Records page displays a pie chart depicting the distribution of the standard and nonstandard Salesforce objects, such as accounts, contacts, leads, and custom objects. Optionally, specify the time at which you want to run the job. By default, the CC360 Analytics job runs at midnight. 4. Click Schedule. Terminating the CC360 Analytics Job schedule You can terminate the schedule that you configure for the CC360 Analytics job. 1. On the left pane, click Settings. 2. On the Settings page, click Execute which is next to Terminate Analytics Schedule.
