Questions to Consider: Are there patterns in academic skills that the student is not as strong in? What areas should attention be focused? How can the school address the areas of concern?
Early Intervention Roster What are the Early Intervention Rosters (EIR)? The Early Invention Rosters are school-level reports that identify students who qualify under three possible categories: Early Identification, Coursework Intervention, and Need for Assistance. This information can help you design intervention strategies to assist students to reach their academic and career goals. Early Intervention Rosters are sent to the school contact identified at the time of materials order. What will the Early Intervention Rosters do? The EIR prioritizes students that need or have requested attention.
Questions to Consider: In which areas do the majority of the students needs assistance? What program or programs do you have or might you implement to assist these students in meeting their needs?
Next Steps Early Intervention Roster Identify the individuals who need to see this report. Develop your plan on how your school is going to intervene with the students on this list.

Questions to Consider: Are more students above or below the benchmark score in each of the areas? What are the highest/lowest performing content areas? How does your local mean in each content area compare to the national mean?
Item Response Summary Report What is the Item Response Summary Report (IRSR)? This report provides tables describing the item-by-item performance of your PLAN examinees. Item response results are categorized by test (e.g., English), by subscore (e.g., Usage/Mechanics), and by content area (e.g., Punctuation) and provide comparisons to other students taking the same test form. District IRSR is cumulative report of your participating school reports. Your district also receives copies of all school level reports. What will the IRSR do? Determine your students academic strengths and weaknesses relative to the skills and knowledge measured by the test items, and address apparent weaknesses at the content area level.
