2 Climate Ready Control Systems Climate Ready Control Systems consist collectively of motor controllers, other hardware and software packages that will operate all facade element/s for eg shading systems, ventilation systems and other motorised systems which require precise operation control (preset stops in angle degree or mm). Climate Ready Control Systems are installed wireless, hardwired or a combination of both. EZ - ZigBee PRO WiFi systems Suitable for constructions requiring: building /updating (one or more levels) to include multiple facade elements updating wiring in existing buildings with ceiling access a highly precise and responsive control system digital or analog sensors for dynamic response air conditioning, security, lighting automation, etc audio visual product integration remote access a system that can be upgraded easily. Features ZigBee PRO WiFi system requires significantly less wiring than other control systems. EZ systems can be networked and/or dynamic operated. Each EZ1 controller operates 1 motor. Project configuration available (2 or 4 motors). Operates all Horiso Solar Control Systems and other manufacturers products. Integrates with a range of audio visual and building automation systems. In addition to controlling two shades, each controller is capable of accepting six dry contact inputs. Optional Control Point modules allow for the addition of sensors and A/V system integration. The Climate Ready EZ1 D Controller can operate stand-alone, networked and / or dynamic using wireless BACnet over ZigBee PRO. No activity on the network. CP-RZ (Control Point Router ZigBee PRO) The ZigBee Control Point has all functionality of the CP-R Control Point Router including a ZigBee PRO gateway. Analog brightness sensor The brightness sensor is adapted to the sensitivity of the human eye. The measuring values are transmitted as analogue signals with a proportional voltage range of 0-10 VDC. The sensor achieves an almost direction-independent sensibility range of 0-90 in elevation and in azimuth. Analog wind sensor The wind sensor collects the speed and wind direction from the mounting point of the sensor s position. The measuring values are transmitted as analogue signals with a proportional voltage range of 0-10 VDC. Weather Station (hardwired or ZigBee - digital) The Digital Sensor Kit is a low cost combination sensor which senses light and wind conditions at the installed location. Thresholds for respective light and wind levels can be set, as well as a delay time to return to auto operation. The values are represented by a digital value (not real physical value) which can be programmed by the user. If the light levels exceed the pre-set value, the shades are in Auto Mode, below the value the shades are retracted. If the wind threshold is exceeded the shades retract and are set back to auto once the wind has calmed down. No dynamic wind or brightness response profile can be used in conjunction with this sensor type. Building automation system integration The motor controller will automatically operate the actuator system in response to the use of devices such as audio visual, air conditioning, lighting and security. Eco-Mode will: Integrate outside temperatures. Restrict manual override if air conditioning is in cooling mode. Facade element/s close or open if temperature is below set point. It enables the operation or override access to facade element/s on tenancy level or per floor. All functions are accessed on User Levels. Major difference is that the control access diagram is shown as a reflected floor plan with motor / facade element relative to the building structure. FIM (Facade Intelligence Modeling) FIM modules are based on 3D modeling of a building s surroundings including adjoining building location, distance and height into consideration. The model is stored in the memory of the related controller and provides calculation input in conjunction with the Solar Path Calculus for the facade element/s adjustment.
