IBMC is committed to providing you practical, hands-on training in a supportive environment and prepare you for a high-demand career. IBMC Family Scholarship IBMC College has helped students build their careers in a variety of career training fields since Through the years, many husbands, wives, children, parents and family members have completed their education experience together. In response, and to encourage these circumstances, the Family Scholarship was created for immediate family members of students and graduates of IBMC. Military Scholarships IBMC College believes in the sacrifice and service that our veterans, active-duty members of the military and their spouses have given/ are giving to our country. In light of this incredible duty, IBMC offers the following to our veterans, active military and their spouses. IBMC VETERANS SCHOLARSHIP: A scholarship to any honorably discharged veteran. (DD214 Required) IBMC ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY SCHOLARSHIP: A scholarship for all active-duty military personnel. This scholarship includes all branches of the military and active reserves. (Military ID required) IBMC ACTIVE-DUTY SPOUSE SCHOLARSHIP: A scholarship for spouses of active-duty military personnel. This scholarship includes all branches of the military and active reserves. (Spouse Military ID required) YELLOW RIBBON VETERANS AFFAIRS SCHOLARSHIP: A scholarship is awarded to qualifying veterans. IBMC participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program under Post-9/11 GI Bill. (authorized under Title V of Public Law ) IBMC MILITARY APPLICATION FEE WAIVER: All application fees are waived as a thank you for your service. IBMC Employee Family Scholarship IBMC College has helped students build their careers in a variety of career training fields since Through the years, many husbands, wives, children, parents and family members have benefited. In response, and to encourage these circumstances, the Employee Family Scholarship was created for family members of current employees of IBMC College. IBMC Employee Tuition Scholarship Immediate family members of a current IBMC College employee can receive full tuition benefit through the Campus President's Office. The employee's family must pay for books and any fees associated with attending IBMC College. Project Self-Sufficiency Scholarship IBMC College has partner with Project Self-Sufficiency to provide single parents with the opportunity to create a bright future for themselves and their children. This collaboration provides moms and dads living in poverty to accomplish their goals of obtaining a degree and a rewarding career because when families are able to support themselves, our community is stronger. BOCES Scholarship IBMC College has helped students, like you, build their careers in the business, dental, cosmetology, medical, legal, personal training and technology fields. IBMC is committed to providing you practical, hands-on training in a supportive environment and prepare you for a high-demand career. Many students need help financing their education. A student may receive only IBMC Advisory Board Scholarship The College s Advisory Boards are comprised of local company leaders who help develop the curriculum of IBMC s career-training programs. Their feedback is valuable, guiding the lessons that are taught in the classroom. In response, IBMC has developed this scholarship to help those members of the board and their immediate family members an opportunity to begin their goal of obtaining a degree, or return to college to further their education. Wallace O. Laub Scholarship Fund This fund is available for specific student needs. The amount of the award will be determined by the student's needs. Fort Collins Dodge Scholarships The Fort Collins Dodge Scholarship is an award designed to help students in need. The scholarship is administered by the CEO of IBMC College and has a maximum award limit of $1,000 per student. This award cannot be combined with other scholarships. The funds will be distributed through the following two scholarship venues: DODGE SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is designed to help students who do not qualify for grant money but have an unmet financial need. FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED: This scholarship is designed to help students who have previously attended IBMC College and are considering returning back to complete his or her program of study. Alorica Employee Scholarship IBMC College is proud to offer the following scholarship opportunity for qualified Alorica employees. The scholarship is limited to 50 students per year (January 1 through December 31). The amount of scholarship will be determined by the student's program area of interest. Single Parent Scholarship IBMC College is dedicated to make sure every student who walks through our doors is successful. This scholarship helps ensure the students who are single parents have the opportunity to create a bright future for themselves and their children by accomplishing their goals of obtaining a degree because when families are able to support themselves, our community is stronger. To assist these parents as they pursue the next step, IBMC has three options available. Walmart Employee Scholarship IBMC College is proud to offer the following scholarship opportunity for qualified Walmart employees. The scholarship is limited to 50 students per year (January 1 through December 31). The amount of scholarship will be determined by the student's program area of interest. Workforce Center Matching Dollars IBMC College has partnered with local Workforce Centers to offer a matching-dollar program. This program is available to students who are referred to IBMC College by one of the Center's team members. IBMC will match scholarship award granted. First Generation College Scholarship When you are the first person in your family to go to college, you are taking a big step. You re travelling down unfamiliar paths and onto a bigger and brighter future. Here at IBMC, we value your drive and determination to start this new path. This scholarship is designed to help first generation college students from all walks of life succeed in this new venture. Hope Scholarship If you were a student at IBMC College and are considering re-enrolling to finish your education, there is no better time than now. 5 Second Chance Scholarship Award is up to $1,000 for a diploma or degree student. The scholarship is applied to the student s account in the first payment period of the student s program. If the student does not complete the program he or she is enrolled in, the scholarship will not be awarded. This award cannot be combined with other scholarships. Be a high school graduate from the last calendar year Cannot have attended a college prior to beginning their training at IBMC 2. The application must be submitted prior to starting college. Students who have already started classes are not eligible for IBMC Family Scholarship Option 1: A $500 scholarship is awarded for a student seeking a certificate in the program area of choice. Option 2: A $1,000 scholarship is awarded for a student seeking a diploma in the program area of choice. Option 3: A $1,500 scholarship is awarded to the student seeking an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in the program area of choice. This scholarship will be applied to the student s account in the last payment period of the student s program. 6 Military Scholarships IBMC VETERANS SCHOLARSHIP: A $1,500 scholarship to any honorably discharged veteran. The employee must be in good standing and submit a written letter requesting the scholarship award. Family Scholarship recipients are awarded based on the following criteria: Applicant must be a family member of a current IBMC employee. Any dependent or spouse not eligible for the IBMC College Full Tuition Benefit along with other family members, including siblings, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, will qualify for the IBMC College Employee Family Scholarship. 2. 7 Project Self-Sufficiency Scholarship IBMC College will match amount given by Project Self-Sufficiency up to $1,500 for any IBMC career-training program. If the student does not complete the program he or she is enrolled in, the Scholarship will not be awarded. Be a single mom or dad who is involved with Project Self-Sufficiency An ability to benefit from career training and gaining employment Has a high school diploma or GED 2. Must receive approval from a Project Self-Sufficiency counselor. 3. The application must be submitted prior to starting college. Students who have already started classes are not eligible for BOCES Scholarship Option 1: A $ 1,000 scholarship is awarded to a student seeking a Diploma in the program of their choice. Option 2: A $ 2,000 scholarship is awarded to a student seeking a Degree in the program of their choice. The award of the scholarship will be shown on the Tuition Financial Plan. If the student does not complete the program he or she is enrolled in, the Scholarship will not be awarded. Eligibility and Selection Procedure: IBMC scholarship recipients are selected by BOCES counseling department or other selection committees designated by the high school. 1. Student must complete scholarship application. 2. Must receive approval from a BOCES counselor. 3. The application must be submitted prior to starting college. Students who have already started classes are not eligible for Fort Collins Dodge Scholarships The scholarship is administered by the CEO of IBMC College and has a maximum award limit of $1,000 per student. This award cannot be combined with other scholarships. The funds will be distributed through the following two scholarship venues: q q Dodge Scholarship: This scholarship is designed to help students who do not qualify for grant money but have an unmet financial need. Finish What You Started: This scholarship is designed to help students who have previously attended IBMC College and are considering returning back to complete his or her program of study. To be eligible to apply for these scholarships, an individual has to meet the following eligibility criteria described below: Must apply for scholarship through either the Financial Aid Office or through a Campus President. Must present financial need. Please note the following: Scholarships will be awarded to a maximum of 8 students a year on a first-come, first-serve basis by the CEO of IBMC College. 9 Alorica Employee Scholarship Option 1: A $1,000 scholarship is awarded for a student seeking a degree in the program area of their choice. Option 2: A $500 scholarship is awarded for a student seeking a diploma or certificate in the program area of their choice. The award will be shown on the student's Tuition Finance Plan. If the student does not complete the program of study, the Scholarship will be prorated for the time frame the student completed. IBMC College scholarship recipients are referred by the Human Resources liaison from Alorica. Although final selection of the recipient is left to the discretion of Alorica staff, IBMC offers the following guidelines as selection criteria: The desire to pursue career training at IBMC College A financial need An ability to benefit from career training and gaining employment The ability to commit to an education experience and see it through To apply for the Alorica Employee Scholarship, the following should be completed prior to the student starting classes. 1. Prospective student completes scholarship application. 2. All forms must be submitted prior to the student starting college. Single Parent Scholarship Option 1: A $750 scholarship is awarded to a student seeking a Certificate in the program of their choice. Option 1: A $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a student seeking a Diploma in the program of their choice.
