Equivalent to any other high-value product, its reliability and performance depend significantly on the capabilities of the operating and maintenance personnel. In order to assure the productivity and reliability of your Locomotive, we offer associated service and training courses which can be customized to your specific requirements. On the following pages, you will find an overview of our current educational programme which will help you to operate your Locomotive safely and reliably over the entire product life cycle. 3 Driver Basic Training Having attended this training you are able to carry out the daily maintenance, safely operate the locomotive and properly react on malfunctions. Target Group Operator personnel without basic experience Size of Group 4 Locomotive Drivers Contents Introduction - Schöma-Movie Description of switches, operational controls and instruments Description of brake system Explanation of daily maintenance Information on the physical theory concerning skidding and slipping Practical training of drivers together with the trainer brake distance tests Required Qualification of the Participants Basic technical knowledges Duration 1 Day Training Language German or English (to be agreed) Information After a short walk around the locomotive, the theoretical lessons start in the seminar room. For practical training of drivers, at least 50 m of track and, if possible, a complete train consist shall be available. Practical training is carried out in groups of 2 drivers. This training does not replace internal safety instructions! Every participant gets a certificate. Price on request

4 Maintenance Basic Training Having attended this training you are able to operate the locomotive, execute regular maintenance and eliminate simple malfunctions. Target group Mechanics without basic experience Size of Group 3 Mechanics Contents Introduction - Schöma-Movie Operation of locomotive Overview of operation manual and spare parts lists Explanation of regular maintenance Overview of schematic drawings for air pressure, hydraulic and electrical components Information on identifying the causes of failure Inspection of locomotive, identification of different components Required Qualification of the Participants Adequate technical knowledge Duration 1 Day Training Language German or English (to be agreed) Information After a short walk around the locomotive and an instruction how to operate the locomotive, the theoretical lessons start in the seminar room. For practical maintenance training, one locomotive has to be available on track and a further locomotive should be accessible from down below. Due to the limited time frame of the training course, a practical training is not scheduled for all of the components, however the relevant components are at least identified on the locomotive. This training does not replace internal safety instructions! Every participant gets a certificate. Price on request

5 Assembly Training Maintenance and Repair Having attended this training you are able to execute more extensive maintenance activities and eliminate failures. Target Group Mechanics or electricians who shall maintain and repair locomotives Size of Group 3 Mechanics / Electricians Contents Introduction - Schöma-Movie Operation of locomotive Overview of operation manual and spare parts lists Explanation of regular maintenance Overview of schematic drawings for air pressure, hydraulic and electrical components Information on identifying the causes of failure Inspection of locomotive, identification of different components Required Qualification of the Participants Adequate technical knowledge, participation in the Maintenance Basis Training or comparable knowledge and practical experiences. Duration 2 Days Training Language German or English (to be agreed) Information During the first day, theoretical training takes place in the seminar room, during the second day the achieved knowledge is practically applied to the locomotive. The main objective of this training course is the understanding of the entire system. If there is a need for more detailed information on the engine, the gear and the hydraulic components please be so kind and directly contact the corresponding suppliers. Due to the limited time frame of the training course not for all issues practical exercises are envisaged, however the relevant components are at least identified on the locomotive. 6 Assembly Training System Comprehension & Trouble Shooting Having attended this training you are able to understand the entire system and locate and eliminate more complicated failures. Target Group Mechanics or electricians who shall repair locomotives and execute the trouble shooting on locomotives with more complicated control systems Size of Group 3 Mechanics / Electricians Contents Introduction - Schöma-Movie Short overview of operation manual and spare parts lists Discussion of the schematic drawings for air pressure, hydraulic and electrical components Information on trouble shooting Inspection of locomotive, identification of the different components Required Qualification of the Participants Good technical knowledge, participation in the Assembly Training Maintenance and Repair or comparable knowledge and practical experiences. 3 Days Duration Training Language German or English (to be agreed) Information During the first tow days, theoretical training takes place in the seminar room. During the third day the achieved knowledge is practically applied to the locomotive. The main objective of this training course is the understanding of the entire system.
