Keynotes Cisco Networkers 2010, Bahrain will open on Monday 29 March, 2010 with a keynote welcoming this event for the first time to the Middle East. This will be presented by a Cisco Senior Executive who will provide an insight into Cisco's vision for the future. Cisco Networkers Bahrain will feature two keynote sessions. This is our first event in the Middle East and therefore we want to share with you helpful tips on how to get the most out of the conference, and what to expect throughout the program. There will be buses leaving the BIC directly after the technical seminars have finished to take attendees to the Speaker Orientation at the Sheraton. Technical Seminars are a comprehensive full-day tutorial seminar and deep dive into a particular technology. Each Technical Seminars includes design principles based on case studies and best practices and some sessions also cover advanced concepts and future technologies. These sessions are intended for the most basic, beginner-level audience. No prerequisites are assumed, and no prior knowledge of the subject matter is expected of the audience for a full understanding of the session content. L2: Intermediate. These sessions are intended for a technical audience who have some knowledge of the subject matter but who need additional information on the technology, architecture, protocol, design, deployment or troubleshooting details. There is an assumption of prerequisites or recommended sessions for Intermediate level sessions (which are defined in the session detail and listed in the session abstract). L3: Advanced. These sessions are intended for a very technical audience. The session content is focused on fine detail, therefore a thorough understanding of the intermediate level technical detail on a particular subject is assumed and expected for the audience to gain any benefit from an advanced level session. It offers an in-depth look at topics such as application networking solutions, server virtualization, unified computing, and storage area networking. You'll also gain new insight into current data centre trends- including environmental and energy concerns-and explore solutions to common challenges. Mobility Whether you are enabling a warehouse with Wi-Fi or equipping a field sales force with wireless SFA applications, you can deepen your understanding on how to design and develop a secure and scalable unified mobility platform for more efficient and effective ways of doing business. Sessions in this track cover protocols, architectures, troubleshooting and deployment methods for Cisco solutions for the following areas: routing, switching, advanced IP technologies and network management. You can learn architecture and design principles specific to campus, branch and wide area networking and gain insight into trends such as network visibility, automation, highavailability, business continuity and regulatory compliance. Security Sessions in this track focus on building the knowledge and skills you need to develop an integrated security approach that improves regulatory compliance, protects against data leakage, and defends against evolving security threats. A particular focus is dedicated to explain how the networks are transforming and evolving through the adoption of all the IP NGN foundation technologies in the core and transport area, in the access and aggregation, in the edge, in the service control, in the mobility space, highlighting important aspects like convergence as well as transition toward IPv6.
