2 Peugeot Scooters Unveils the urban mobility of tomorrow At the Paris Motor Show, Peugeot unveils two scooters which will give a glimpse of the urban mobility of tomorrow: The E-Vivacity, presented for the first time in its production version and expected to go on sale in December, and the E-Satelis, an electric concept scooter in the Grand Touring tradition. A leading player in European urban mobility for 112 years, Peugeot Scooters is proud to claim the title of the world s oldest manufacturer. Its history dates back to 1898 and with 20 models from 50 to 500 cc in its catalogue, Peugeot Scooters today offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of mopeds and scooters on the market. Guided by innovation and inspired by the motor car, Peugeot Scooters has revolutionised the world of the motorised two-wheeler: inventor of the plastic bodied scooter (1982), pioneer of the electric scooter (1996), first to equip its 125 cc scooters with ABS as standard (2002) or to develop a supercharged engine (2005), these are just some of the landmark achievements establishing Peugeot in the vanguard of urban mobility. E-VIVACITY: TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUTURE TODAY In 2010, Peugeot continues to innovate with the launch of the E-Vivacity, a compact electric scooter and eco-citizen par excellence. Drawing on nearly 15 years experience in the field of electric-powered vehicles, Peugeot completes its range with a 100% electric, zero emissions scooter. Totally silent, it is equipped with new-generation Lithium-ion batteries allowing a range of 60 kilometres at 45 kph, while its power of 3 kw frees up a high level of torque for lively acceleration and real driving pleasure. In terms of running costs, the E-Vivacity is incredibly economical since every 100 km travelled will cost its user only 0.40, i.e. around a tenfold reduction on the cost of an internal combustion engine.it is expected to go on sale at the end of the autumn. E-SATELIS: TAKING ELECTRIC POWER INTO A NEW DIMENSION At the same time as this new scooter, Peugeot will also be unveiling the E-Satelis, an electric concept scooter in 2 PEUGEOT Scooters - Press Kit

3 Peugeot Scooters the Grand Touring tradition equipped with four Lithiumion battery packs developing a power of 4 kwh. Capable of venturing outside city limits, the E-Satelis has a range of 100 kilometres under normal driving conditions and has a maximum speed restricted voluntarily to 90 kph. It has three operating modes which can be selected as required: an Eco mode to preserve battery life, a Sport mode offering a high level of performance thanks to an energy recovery system which operates during braking, and a Reverse gear mode for manoeuvres at low speed. With the E-Vivacity and E-Satelis, Peugeot Scooters takes a bold new step by proposing new solutions for cleaner and more efficient urban mobility. September 2010 Like the E-Vivacity, it has an on-board charger enabling it to be recharged via a 220 V mains socket. Four hours will be required to recharge the battery fully, while two hours will suffice for an 80% top-up. The original covered load space is also retained and can hold two full face helmets, a laptop computer or two tennis rackets for sports-lovers. A silent vehicle, it stands out by its exceptional comfort and driveability, the absence of maintenance, and running costs ten times lower than those of an internal combustion engined scooter. 3 PEUGEOT Scooters - Press Kit
