Services include civil, structural mechanical and electrical design as well as land-based marine design. 4 City of New Orleans Mahalia Jackson Theater of the Performing Arts Hurricane Repairs This FEMA-funded project involved damage assessment and repair design for mechanical and plumbing components within the 40-year old building damaged by winds and flooding from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Damage to the building required complete replacement of basement and first floor mechanical and plumbing utilities, with designs for hazard mitigation to reduce the risk of future damage in accordance with the Stafford Act. Infinity prepared plans and specifications for detailed design of: Pumps and motors with dry-pit submersibles pumps Replacement & relocation of elevator hydraulic power units, hot water heaters, circulation pumps and piping suitable for installation on floors above grade. The new high-efficiency also HPU s utilize less power during operation. Replacement of chillers, pumps, piping, valves, ductwork, and HVAC air handlers Replacement and re-design of restroom, concession stand, and sprinkler system plumbing Replacement of roof-top ventilators destroyed by wind; Steel support structures for the adjustable stage and orchestra pits, and for an emergency diesel generator and fire pump building to be elevated above the ABFE Structural modifications for failing concrete stairs, walls, and ceiling framing Total Construction: $20 million
5 Plaquemines Parish Percy Griffin Community Center Davant, LA Infinity provided design services for all structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical components, including construction administration for the completely new 14,000 sf community building. This building is a replacement for the Davant Community Center and Magnolia Senior Center. The building entailed office space, a community center, a full service commercial kitchen, a meeting room, and several multipurpose activity rooms. The building is raised above the area s BFE requiring 2 levels (Ground floor & 1st floor). The mechanical system for the first flood included two variable volume HVAC systems with VAV s, a constant volume system, and a dedicated HVAC system for the elevator machine room. The ground floor lobby also had its own dedicated HVAC system. The project also required vent design, hot & cold water with addition of a hot water recirculation system. Total Construction: $6 million
6 Jefferson Parish Westwego, LA Alario Center Expansion Infinity performed structural design for the 20,000 sf expansion. Infinity also provided construction administration and inspection services. Total Construction: $6 million
7 Marrero, LA Marrero Community Center Infinity performed structural, mechanical and electrical, and plumbing design for the 6,000 sf facility. Infinity also provided construction administration. This project was funded by a federal Community Development Block Grant. Total Construction: $1.5 million
