1 BSU / BCM COLLECTION BAPT MSS #17 FINDING AID INTRODUCTION: The collection was given by Charles L. Nored, Director of Baptist Collegiate at Motlow State Community College in Lynchburg, TN. It is Accession #B PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 16 Boxes / 11 Monographs / 3 Notebooks (10 cubic feet) INCLUSIVE DATES: SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTES: The collection consists of two bodies of material. The first group consists of the Tennessee Baptist Student Union / Baptist Collegiate Ministry records that were housed at the TBC headquarters. The second group of records belonged to Charles L. Nored, author of Making the Campus Different: Seventy-Five Years of Baptist Student Union in Tennessee, These materials consist of resources and notes used in writing this book as well as drafts of chapters, appendices, index, and bibliography. Some resources from Nored s material were filed with like resources from the TBC s records where appropriate, including files that related to specific colleges/universities. File names were transferred as they appeared on original folders in most cases.
