1 Ohio Colleges¹ Notes: Many schools have early admissions deadlines in order for students to be considered for top scholarships. Some deadlines are as early as November. Check web sites for exact information. Due to recent laws requiring more financial transparency, many schools have financial aid calculators on their web sites. Many academic departments or colleges also offer their own scholarships. A 50% mid-range means that 25% of the entering class has higher test scores and 25% have lower scores than the specified mid-range. A + indicates that test scores are trending up. For example: Ohio State ( campus) had 31,359 applications for the Fall of Of those who applied, 17,413 were admitted and 7,130 enrolled. The mid-range for Ohio State is an ACT score of Of the 7,130 who enrolled, 25% of those students had an ACT score 32 or higher and 25% had an ACT score of 26 or lower. 25% of 7,130 is 1,783.
