However we are still improving fast and are in the top 3 in the NW. Specifically GFS (Grant funded services) which showed a reduction this year. Cumulative Quarters 1, 2 & 3 equates to Comparing the last 3 Quarters data, there has been a decline across all district / cross district but two. This percentage decline is due to the total number of people leaving a service (B) compared to total number who have moved on in a planned way (A). In the last Quarter there has been a marked difference in the total number. There could be continued improvement due to monitoring as scheme level. However, it must be noted that in short term services there are complex vulnerable people and if the direction of the Commissioning Body is to support this group rather than low level the percentage would must certainly reduce. However Qtr upon Qtr this has improved. Quarter 3 shows that the majority of district / cross districts the percentage has improved bringing the overall figure of nearer to our target of 99. IF the variances between qtr 1 & qtr 2 and qtr 2 & qtr 3 continue then the target of 99 will be exceeded. Qtr , qtr variance of.39. Qtr , qtr variance of.39. Therefore = Within this target is the reporting of floating support (short term) as instructed by CLG. The performance of these schemes has an impact on the variances; this is due to the complexities of some of the clients groups and their skills in establishing / maintains their own accommodation.
