3 Company Introduction Southern Protection Agency is a fully licensed, insured and bonded uniform security provider across many areas of the south. Corporately located in Atlanta, GA we have many regional offices to provide local management response to our clients. We employ not only uniformed security but off duty law enforcement as well. In addition to uniform security, we further offer our clients, CCTV monitoring installation and service, as well as a host of other services specific to our client s needs. We also supply law enforcement for special events which may call for a more strategic approach. Our senior management is comprised of over 80 years experience in law enforcement, and legal prosecution. A resume of the management team is attached in this service proposal. Our certified in house training program is in accordance with the guidelines set forth by all the states in which we provide service. We further implement on site training to ensure that our officers are aware of the problems specific to the individual client and not a generalization of services. We train our officers in house and on your site to meet your particular needs. Site managers are assigned to all of our sites allowing direct access to our management team at all times. Bi-Weekly site visits are conducted by all members of senior management. All officers are equipped with radio communication allowing direct communication with on duty law enforcement and outfitted with complete "class A" uniforms. 8 Security Patrol Officers Southern Protection is dedicated to providing you with professional officers to not only deter crime while on patrol, but to assist patrons and residents as well. Vacationing members will be provided a mechanism in which security checks of their respective residences can be viewed upon their return. Certain areas of your property will be identified as priority and will be patrolled a minimum number of times per your request. Daily logs will be filed and available upon request. All traffic observations will be documented and provided to our client. In the event of a lane or road closure, officers will man the closure until proper signage and detour route can be established and the proper emergency departments can arrive on the scene. We offer foot patrol officers, as well as bike, cart, and vehicle patrols. All officers undergo rigorous driving training in all kinds of adverse conditions as well as patrol observation training. Customer Service Our dispatch and employee care center is available 24/7 and can access your account at anytime. Billing questions, insurance requirements, as well as direct connection with our senior staff can all be done by dialing PATROL.

13 Security Officer Safety Statement It is the policy of Southern Protection Agency to set forth procedures that support performing our services safely and without creating unacceptable risks to human health, safety or the environment. Our company s safety policy must be site specific due to the nature and diverse conditions of each of our properties. The safety policy for each site will be prepared by both regional and local management. This will be presented upon completion to the risk management department for signature. Once the safety policy has been approved, the client along with site management, will: Work together on the site in question to furnish our employees a place to work which is free from recognized hazards which are likely to cause death, injury or illness. Establish and maintain programs to assure that laws and regulations applicable to environmental risks are known and obeyed. To carry out this policy, the company will: Identify and control public health, safety and environmental hazards stemming from its operations. Conduct accident prevention, occupational health and pollution control programs to safeguard employees and the public from injuries or health hazards, to protect the company s assets and continuity of operations, and to protect the environment. Hold each supervisor accountable for assuring that employees, equipment and facilities within their area of responsibility are managed in a safe and healthy manner. Recognize the priority of safety and health where there is competition with economic factors. Work constructively with trade associations, government agencies and other to develop equitable and realistic laws, regulations and standards to protect public health, safety and the environment. They provide after the fact reporting which can be altered before you even see it. This system is in real-time, anytime you want to view it from your own computer! All you need is an internet connection. How many times do you actually look at those 50 page reports that other security providers give you? Not to mention, they print it, they can alter it and then give the report to you. Our program is paperless but allows you to pull data for anytime and any day within 6 months. 16 Applicant Screening Southern Protection Agency will provide you with certified, licensed, insured, and bonded Security Guards. Each Security Professional has been screened to the standards of the local and state law enforcement agencies. Officer training continues even after placement in the field and we offer supervisor courses to those who qualify. Here is what you can expect from us and our guards. I. Our pre-employment background investigation matches that of most police department jurisdictions. In addition, Southern Protection has employed a staff that calls for the initial screening of our personnel to undergo a pre-employment, verbal and written psychological exam and a psychological interview. Furthermore, our personnel all submit to a battery of aptitude tests, a 5-panel drug screening, and extensive in-service training regarding criminal law and police defensive tactics. Prior to commencement of a contract, we will provide you with the full applicant investigation of each proposed security guard. II. III. IV. We offer all types of uniformed guards from Mobile Patrol, Residential, Warehouse, Gate Host, and Concierge/Reception. Each officer is assigned dependant upon their training, employment history, and physical capabilities. Supervisors are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days per year for your convenience and will regularly make spot checks to prevent the issue of complacency. It is our belief that in order to assure the best quality of service that we stand by, we must keep close relationships with our personnel both on and off duty. All of our security guards will be equipped with two-way radios or equivalent to ensure constant communication with our management team. Each and every security guard will be in-serviced regularly regarding your specific site to further enhance the protection we provide.

17 V. The quality we bring to your environment begins long before you see our security guards. The Board of Directors has resolved to make the recruitment and training of our personnel the key to our success; in that, we conduct hiring initiatives on a regular basis with over 500 applicants per yearly quarter, with an average of only 25 new appointees. Once an application is accepted, the individual must first complete initial basic training before being placed on a post. Driving instructors further conduct training in emergency E.V.O.C. before the guard is allowed to operate company vehicles on your site. VI. Basic training exceeds that of any of our competitor s programs. The knowledge of our management team is passed on to our new employees. In addition to the state mandated certification courses, personnel in accordance to their assignment and rank must attend: 40-hour Police Defensive Tactics Training 12-hour Patrol Techniques & Criminal Law Emergency Medical Response 8-hour Customer Service Seminar Advanced Individual Merit Courses *Officers working construction or hazardous sites must also complete OSHA training as outlined by federal regulations. VII. Our uniformed security guards are trained to act as a criminal deterrent by adopting the principals of the C.P.O.P (community police officer program) methodology. Simply put, our guards are encouraged to be an approachable source of information to patrons, visitors, and associates. Letting the public know that we are there for them generates a feeling of business safety.

18 VIII. Our security guards are trained to make visible patrols throughout our properties in undetermined patterns. We encourage our personnel to interact with your patrons, visitors, and employees in addition to standing a fixed post. Being diverse in our assignments would be essential in your patrol. IX. Our company has developed a theory of Enforcement through Reinforcement. The management, having combined years of security and law enforcement experience, has realized that prevention of crime can be accomplished by utilizing tactical approaches, rather than accusations and the traditional methods of our predecessors.
