3 Although many of them are already actively involved in consultative bodies, European working groups and standardisation committees, the political Brussels is not always aware of their existence. On the other hand, with political and economic integration moving forward, European institutions have to deal with ever more specific questions. The information requirements are tremendous! This brochure aims to introduce European sectoral associations for SMEs to all those who are involved in the European integration process. It is an invitation to take advantage of the associations specific experience which they are prepared to put at your disposal. Please, do not hesitate to contact them!
