With beaded door styles, as well as those with roping or a raised panel, the additional panache from a glaze, whether subtle or dramatic, is worth a second look. Nearly every stain is offered with your choice of light or dark glazes. Each of the doors to the right began with a Mandarin stain on cherry, which is shown unglazed on the left. The center door features a dry coffee glaze; notice this door has a very similar tonal appearance to the unglazed door. Dry glazes are intended only to highlight and accentuate the door s profiles. The wet, onyx glaze on the third door deepens the overall tone of the underlying stain, creating a new finish look as well as profile highlights. Ask your designer to see actual wood color chips and door samples to make the decision that s right for your home. 12 omega

When our cabinetry designers got together with our Antiquing and Vintage Touch specialists, the result was several impressive doors, each displaying its own distinctive effect. These take into consideration the door style, stains and glazes, the type of Vintage Touch methods and the amount of Antiquing. The result is dramatic and showcases the standards of quality that Omega puts into each door. 15 Iced Top coat. With its subtle opalescence, our exclusive top coat transforms any finish, glaze or opaque, giving it a unique shimmer. It is applied to the entire exterior unit, not only doors and drawers. This gentle layer of frosting is so distinctive that we recommend you look at an actual sample to appreciate its full effect.
