2 Basic Functions of PQVISU-Software: Toolbar at the top edge of the form: 1. Enter Password: It's only active, if the mode 'Administrator' + 'Operator' (in PQAdmin) is activated. The current access rights from PQStart-Program will be transferred. 2. Save desktop: Position and size of forms will be saved. 3. Printer setup: Selection of a printer and sheet-allocation are stored for all forms. 4. Cascade: All forms will be cascaded. 5. Tile: All forms will be displayed side by side. 6. Close application: Regardless whether additional forms are in use, the program PQVisu will be closed. 7. Manual (as icon): Opens a PDF-manual with the appropriate program description. Seite 2
3 8. '?': Opens a dialog box, which contains Program-Information. Navigation in PQVISU-Software: Second button toolbar: 1. Back: You can go back to the last used function. 2. Disturbance recorder: This function is available on each form as a 'Shortcut'. 3. PQ-Events: Shows an overview of the recorded PQ-Events. 4. PQ-Reports: It's also always available and shows a selection of PQ-reports and statistical evaluation. 5. The next four buttons are provided to work with measurement data. They will be activated depending from the situation. 6. These are: Continuous recordings as level-time-diagram, in tables, special statistic-overview or as event-table. Seite 3
4 SQL-Explorer of PQVISU-Software: 1. On the left side the PQ tables will be shown in a explorer like tree structure. 2. The top entry is the SQL-Database (here 'STW_D'). 3. The first sub item is the folder 'Basic data'. Tables will be summarized, which contains data from all stations (e.g. Recording-references the Setup of all devices). 4. The measure devices are listed below. Here for instance: 'B1uw02ka04' or 'B1uw02kb02'. 5. Below the stations (e.g. 'B2uw02bk02') the data class level is situated. In our example its: 3-Second-average, 10-Minute-average/extreme, 2-hour-average, Dailystatistic, RecA: 10µs-valuese, RecB: 10-ms-values, RecC: 10-Minute-Harmonics, RecS: Signal-Voltages and EN Events. 5 6. Below the data classes there are the tables (Our example shows only one table: B2uw02kb02). The time region of available data also appears. Special Table related Functions: 1. Analyze Table: Displays the number of records, the time region 'From-to' and the containing quantities (corresponds to double-click on a table entry). 2. As SQL default connection: The name of the selected SQL-Connection will become the default value in INI-file. 3. Tree: Reduce: Collapses all entries together only the level above the database remains open. 4. Sort Stations/Tables: To improve the clearness, there are three options (see next section) 5. Table: Copy name: The original table name will be copied into the windows clipboard. 6. Repair table: The MySQL-command 'repair table..' will be used to rebuild a probably corrupted table index. 6 7. Rename table: It's a PQ-Admin command option for special requirements. 8. Drop table: Tables without a useful content can be remove from the database by 'drop table..'. 9. Station Delete: All tables of a station will be deleted. 10. SQL: Connect: Is available when disconnected, can be used to make a new attempt to establish a connection to the database. 11. SQL: Disconnect: Is available when connected, so you can disconnect from database. 12. Export Text-file: Uses SQL-commands to generate a text file. This feature also works in network (if for instance the SQL server is on another machine) Export: Text-File Export: in SQL format (backup table) 13. Export in SQL-Format (backup table..): This function use the SQL-command 'backup table..'. Refer other instructions on backups. Seite 6
7 Sorting of Tables: Station/Class/Time: Group/Station/Class/Time: Group/Plant/Station/Class/Time: ID of the measure device (when indicated the extended ID will be used) Groupt by the filed 'Group' in parametrization under 'ID, LAN, Time' The field 'Plant' from program surface: 'ID, LAN, Time' will be added. 1. To assist in identification of stations, Group and Plant information (as programmed in the measuring unit) can be displayed in the navigation tree. 2. This information is setup via the parameterization software: 'ID, LAN, Time' option. Seite 7
8 Selection of Measures for further Display: 1. If you want to display the measures in graphical or tabular form the handling is similar: Initially quantities are selected then the time window. 2. To select values, filtering of columns can be done in two steps: As a group (middle region) or as individual sizes (right panel). 3. In addition with Reset all or Select all the entire table can be handled. 4. There is also the selection button Save selection automatically. If it's checked, the current selection will always be stored and with each access to the same table you will find exactly the same preselected items. 5. In the middle selection box there is also the possibility to check groups of harmonics (e.g. 'Voltage uneven up to 25' or 'Current uneven not dividable by 3) in one step. 6. On the right mouse button there are further display options. Seite 8
9 Comparison of Device-Setup: 1. The parameter of all devices can be shown and compared in one table. 2. The number of Tables with device parameter depends from the hardware (UU-devices and UI-devices) and form firmware (several releases). 3. Whit Comparison: Device Setup you will come to the next screen. Seite 9
10 Comparison Device-Setup: 1. This table shows current setup data of different stations side by side. The values are colored depending from values compared to the current default (blue) column. 2. One table-column is the template for the others. The selection can be changed by the right mouse button at any time (set the Cursor in the desired column and select 'Compare to current column'). 3. The data of the table can be copied at any time by right mouse button into the windows clipboard. 4. There is also a service function 'Deletion of selected device parameter'. Use this function only in case, if there are table columns which will no longer are to be maintained. 5. Even deleting this table, if necessary, isn't a problem. With the next restart of PQManager this table will be newly generated and filled. Seite 10
11 User-Query of SQL-Table-Data: 1. There is an addition service-function for displaying data from SQL tables. Via the button Data direct the data of the currently selected table will be shown in a string grid. 2. The purpose of this function is, to provide the user with a simple SQL-Query-Browser. That opens the whole world of the virtually unlimited world of SQL-querylanguage. 3. Alternatively MySQL-Tools like 'MySQL-Query-Browser', 'MySQL-Workbench' etc. can be operated. Seite 11
12 User-Query of SQL-Table-Data: 1. First always the whole table will be shown (all columns). The recently used SQL-query is copied into the red framed text field. 2. Pre-defined commands can be selected from a list (arrow-down-button on the right). 3. The commands will be copied to the text field and can be edited there. The current table name will automatically be replaced. 4. Via the LIMIT-condition (here 'LIMIT 1000') a line limitation is operated. That's to prevent queries that delivers millions of rows (this part is in the responsibility of the user) from the database and stops the whole system. 5. To use data outside the program, you can copy the date. If you want to do this selectively, lines can be highlighted first. 6. By editing the field list, it's possible to calculate new sizes (per example average, maximum etc.). 7. About the further options of the 'WHERE'- or 'LIMIT'-clause you can read from MySQL-Manual. 8. Further commands are: UPDATE, REPAIR, OPTIMIZE, DESCRIBE. 9. Commands, which can modify table data, are protected by the account of the 'PQ-Administrators' (if this option is activated). Seite 12
