7 NEMO LOADSPACE COMPACT LOAD HAULER With a load length of 1.52 metres and an amazing loadspace capacity of 2.5m 3, Nemo is also capable of carrying a whopping 610kg payload. And with a low load sill it can easily swallow all kinds of heavy cargo and secure loads with robust, built-in anchorage points. A LITTLE MODULARITY The optional EXTENSO passenger seat folds fully flat giving you an extra 97cm load length to an exceptional 2.49m and increases load volume to a massive 2.8m 3. A LOT OF PRACTICALITY When it comes to loading and unloading in busy urban spaces, Nemo really makes life easy. The asymmetrical rear doors can open to 90 degrees, or for even more access 180 degrees. Optional twin sliding side doors give you access from other angles, so you can load and unload twice as fast, or even when there s no room behind you. What s more, with remote control central locking available as part of the Plus Pack, you can keep the load compartment locked while you hop in and out, or lock the cabin while you unload. 5

11 NEMO SAFETY GREAT STRENGTH With car-like roadholding and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard, Nemo is designed to keep you out of danger in all conditions. A robust outer shell, deep bumpers and up to two airbags keep you and your passenger protected from every angle. For added safety, Nemo s on-board computer also has a programmable over speed warning system, which alerts you with an alarm and on-screen message if you go over your pre-set speed. LITTLE IMPACT As any urban business driver knows, small nicks and scrapes can make a huge dent in the bottom line so Nemo uses some clever engineering to reduce the financial impact. The front headlamps are high up to avoid contact, whilst the front bumper is reinforced by a steel safety bar to protect the engine from light knocks. 13 SLIDING SIDE LOADING DOOR For really fast work and easy access, these doors are a must. A nearside sliding side door is standard on LX models (optional on X), a second offside door is an option on both models. REAR PARKING SENSORS Nemo s compact dimensions make the tightest parking spots a tempting possibility - LX models are available with rear parking sensors as an option to help make life even easier! NEMO OPTIONS BULKHEADS A steel half-height bulkhead with upper mesh grille (B) can be fitted as an option on all Nemo vans. This separates the load compartment from the cabin and provides substantial protection for the driver and passenger, even when carrying a variety of small items. Other options include a full steel bulkhead*, which forms a complete and secure barrier between the load space and the cabin area. Coupled with the unglazed rear doors, the full steel bulkhead provides excellent security for the cargo, hiding it from prying eyes. For Nemo vans fitted with optional glazed rear doors with heated rear window and wash-wipe, a full steel bulkhead with inset window (C) is an option. This bulkhead offers similar load-stopping capability to the full steel bulkhead, with a window to optimise rear visibility. 20 NEMO GLOSSARY HIGH-PRESSURE DIRECT INJECTION DIESEL ENGINE Our HDi diesel engines operate with the fuel under extremely high pressure, enabling microscopically precise injection control. With this level of management it s possible to inject at different times during the same engine stroke allowing total control over the combustion process. This has allowed our engineers to reduce carbon monoxide emissions by 40%, unburned hydrocarbons by 50% and engine particulates by 60%. Fuel consumption is 20% lower than a prechamber diesel engine, resulting in an equivalent reduction in CO2 emissions and thanks to the torque available at low engine speed it could be argued that driveability is now better than in petrol engined cars. ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) Computer-controlled braking assistance designed to prevent the wheels from locking under extreme braking. This enables the vehicle to continue being steered and therefore controlled during this braking incident. ON-BOARD TRIP COMPUTER Nemo s multi-function trip computer provides you with information at your fingertips. At the touch of a button you can view a range of data like fuel consumption, average speed and mileage possible at your current fuel level. Nemo also allows you to set a speed limit with a warning tone sounding when it is exceeded. EXTENSO The EXTENSO folding passenger seat enables the load length of Nemo to be increased to 2491mm, a gain of more than 950mm. This enables you to configure your passenger seat in three positions: Seat - for the transportation of a passenger, Table - to accommodate your various documents. Fully folded - for the transportation of long objects. GUIDE-ME-HOME HEADLAMPS Parking in the evening or in a poorly lit car park is made easier with Citroën s guide-me-home system. On locking the vehicle the headlights stay on for a few seconds to allow you time to get to your front door or garage exit with sufficient illumination to navigate your way safely. 18
