8 Quantum Tall Point of Use Cooler Installation Tips 1. Unscrew the black ring by turning it counter clockwise until you hear a click. Remove the ring. 5. Slide the blue tube into the round slot at the back of the cooler and feed the line up into the cooler. 2. Place the filter tree in to the reservoir. Ensure that the white ring is not removed. 6. Insert the blue tubing into the John Guest fitting. 3. Place the black ring back on the cooler. 7. Pull up the blue tubing from the back of the cooler and connect it to the city water supply. 4. Secure the black ring in its place by turning it clockwise until it clicks. 8. Place the cooler cover back on.

Attach the supplied bracket to the back of the cooler with the provided screws using a screwdriver. 2. Install the filter at the back of the cooler on the filter bracket or under the sink 3. Connect 3/8 tubing from the outlet of the filter head to the fitting at the back of the cooler 4. Connect the 3/8 supply water line to the inlet of the filter head

10 Recommended POU Cooler Maintenance 1. Change the filter cartridge every 6 months 2. Sanitize the cooler reservoir, replace/rinse faucet and drip tray every 6 months There are two procedures to choose from: Sanitizing Options 1. Exchange the reservoir and applicable parts on site with fresh parts; sanitize used parts at your facility. 2. Sanitize onsite using diluted household bleach, fed directly into the reservoir. Procedure #1: Remove the cooler cover Shut the water off to the filtration system Remove the filter tree/float system by lifting it straight up and out of the tank Empty the water reservoir by draining the water out from the faucets Remove the white faucet by turning it clockwise one quarter (1/4) turn and pulling it out towards you. (note: the red faucet is a child-safe hot water faucet) Remove the blue faucet by turning it counter clockwise one quarter (1/4) turn and pulling out towards you. Remove the water reservoir by lifting it straight up and out Replace all removed parts with clean parts. (reservoir and faucets) Re-install the filter tree/float system in to the tank reservoir Replace water filter cartridge Draw water from both faucets for 1 continuous minute to purge the new filter cartridge Replace or rinse the drip tray You are now ready to go Procedure #2: Remove the cooler cover Shut the water off to the filtration system Remove the filter tree/float system by lifting it straight up and out of the tank Do not drain the reservoir Add 2-3 drops of household bleach into the reservoir Let sit for 5 minutes Empty the reservoir by running water out through both faucets Re-install the filter tree/float system in to the tank reservoir Replace water filter cartridge Draw water from both faucets for 2-3 continuous minute to purge the new filter cartridge and void the tank of any residual bleach Note: draw water until the chlorine smell is cleared Replace or rinse the drip tray Replace or rinse faucets You are now ready to go Toll free ext. 238/265 orderdesk@danamark.com customercare@danamark.com
