13 Directional Control Valves Open-Circuit Piston Pumps Output of Eaton's 420 twostage pumps is matched to the volume of oil required by the selected speed, thereby eliminating wasted energy. The 420 pump s AC servo motor is more energy efficient than PQ pumps by aligning with energy requirements during the work cycle of injection molding machines. The flow of the pump is controlled by electronically selecting one of two pump displacements that are preset by mechanical stops and controlling the speed of the servo motor.
