1 Application Form Applications close Friday 28 February 2014 Guidelines There are four vocational education and training (VET) study grants of $2000 each available to Territory women who are planning on studying to assist them in returning to work after a period of absence. Eligibility To be eligible to apply you must: be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia have not worked in a full-time position in the last three years have not worked more than 20 hours per week in the last three months be enrolled in a vocational education and training (VET) course. The grant must be used for: payment of course fees, or course materials/tools, or books, or other costs directly associated with the study. Priority will be given to women studying in skill shortage areas. Refer to the Northern Territory Occupation Eligible Qualification List - Successful recipients of the 2014 Northern Territory International Women s Day VET Study Grant will be required to: submit results at the end of their course provide a brief one page written report explaining how the grant helped them return to the workforce provide receipts of related expenditure acquitting funds provided. Please ensure your application is signed and dated and is received by the Department of Business by COB 28 February 2014.

What is your understanding of International Women s Day, and what does it mean to you? Please ensure the following documents are attached to support your application: 1. Provide proof of your Australian Citizenship or permanent residency status, for example, birth certificate, or certificate of citizenship, or passport. 2. Proof of Northern Territory residential status, for example, drivers licence or utility statement. 3. Confirmation of enrolment in a VET course at a Northern Territory training institution, for example, enrolment confirmation advice from the training provider. Page 4 of 5
