4 OPTIONAL COURSES AND MAJORS The 30 optional courses credits may be earned in one of two modalities: A) With a major: To obtain a major, 18 or 24 credits must be earned from the optional courses that form part of the major. The other optional credits to reach a total of 30 must be chosen from the cross-discipline block. In turn, 6 or 12 of the practicum credits must be linked to the major according to whether it entails 18 or 24 credits, respectively. B) Without a major: If no major is chosen, a minimum of 18 credits must be earned from the optional courses offered in the Primary Education Degree, with the remaining 12 credits, as a maximum, corresponding to elective courses*. All practicums will be general in character.
