NOTE: Clients with MANAGED CARE MEDICAID may be accepted by some of the hospitals listed as Medicare and pvt. Insurance only, the hospital needs to be contacted to see if a particular managed care company will approve them. They have a 19 bed gero-psy unit that accepts Medicare only. The adult unit accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances. They also accept commitments. Riverside Hospital Ennis Street FAX: bed facility for children, adolescents and adults. Also do medical detox and have residential substance programs for adults and adolescents. They treat indigent patients in their detox and residential program. All patients referred for the inpatient psychiatric program must have a payer source (will take indigents on rare occasions).
