5 To prepare for the Missouri Content Assessments go to click on the Prepare link at the top of the page and then click on either Test Frameworks or Study Guides. Test frameworks provide the content covered by the test. Study guides provide general information about the test, as well as sample questions to help you prepare. For middle school business and speech/theatre, scroll down to Professional Knowledge: Middle School, since there is currently no content-specific exam available. Practice tests for the 25 most frequent test titles, taken by 94% of candidates, will be made available December 31, To register for the Missouri Content Assessments go to click on the Register link at the top of the page and then either login, if you have already created an account for MEP or MoGEA, or create an account and then login. Testing for the following exams will begin September 2, 2014: Early Childhood Education; Elementary Education*; K-12 Art, Music: Instrumental and Vocal, and Physical Education; Middle School Science and Social Science; Secondary Biology, Business, Chemistry, English, General Science, Mathematics, Physics, Social Science*, and Speech & Theatre; Special Education and M/M Middle/Secondary Multi- Content*; Professional Knowledge Middle School and Secondary School; Student Services Counselor and School Psychologist. Testing for the following exams will begin September 29, 2014: K-12 Family & Consumer Sciences, World Language: Chinese, World Language: French, World Language: German, World Language: Spanish, Health, Library/Media Specialist; Middle School English and Mathematics; Secondary Agriculture, Earth Science, Marketing, Technology & Engineering, Unified Sciences*; Special Education Blind & Low Vision, Deaf & Hard of Hearing, Early Childhood Special Education, and Severely Developmentally Delayed; School & District Leadership** Building Level Administrator and Superintendent. The Missouri Content Assessments are available year round by appointment, Monday through Saturday (excluding some holidays), at flexible times and locations. World Language tests are administered only during specific testing windows which vary by language and location see Test Dates and Sites online. **MEGA School & District Leadership Testing Windows for Building-Level Administrator will be 9/29-10/11/2014, 11/24-12/6/2014, 1/19-31/2015, 3/16-28/2015, 5/11-23/2015, and 7/6-18/2015 and for Superintendent will be 9/29-10/11/2014, 1/19-31/2015, 5/11-23/2015, and 7/6-18/2015. Test appointments for the assessments listed above may be scheduled Monday-Saturday (unless otherwise noted), excluding holidays, on a first-come, first-served basis. *Includes all subtests ǂ Once the state Board of Education has set the Missouri Qualifying Score (which should take effect July 1, 2015), students will have only five attempts in which to pass each section. A reasonable preliminary passing score will be set by the state board and will be in effect until the MQS has been set.
