HAL-HYD/2016/01, Date Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navaratna Status Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Defence is a premier Aeronautical Industry of South East Asia with 20 Production/ Overhaul/ Service Divisions and 10 co-located R & D Centers spread across the Country. HAL s spectrum of expertise encompasses design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and upgrade of Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero-Engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories, Avionics & Systems and Structural components for Satellite & Launch Vehicles. HAL, Hyderabad is currently looking for Ex-Servicemen for engagement on tenure basis as Field Service Representative for the following Outstation Air Base : Sl. FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE & FSR001 Srinagar IAF Base - 01 SGT & ABOVE RADAR/RADIO FITTER Diploma in Electronics Engineering or its equivalent from IAF Note: Candidates possessing higher qualifications than the required qualification indicated in the advertisement/notification need not apply. Candidature of such persons who possess higher qualifications than the required qualification indicated in the Advertisement/Notification and who apply for the post will be rejected. AGE LIMIT/ RELAXATION / CONCESSION Age limit as on is 28 years. however, Ex-servicemen who has put in not less than six months continuous service in the Armed Forces of the Union, shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post or service for which he seeks employment/appointment by more than 3 years, he is deemed to satisfy the condition regarding the age limit. Upper age limit with all relaxations shall not exceed 55 years. PLACE OF POSTING: The selected candidate will be posted to Srinagar Air Base which is located in Jammu & Kashmir. However, they are liable to be transferred to any place in India where HAL has Divisions/Offices. No request for change of posting will be entertained after joining. Contd..2/-

2 : 2 : TENURE OF ENGAGEMENT The selected candidates will be engaged on tenure basis for a period of four years from the date of engagement. The tenure will come to an end automatically on completion of four years period from the date of joining, without any further notice. The engagement can be terminated, at any time, during the period of tenure engagement, by giving one month s notice by either party or payment of the Basic Pay + DA components in the consolidated remuneration in lieu of the Notice. The Tenure Based Engagement will not confer any right on the personnel to claim the status of a regular employee of the Company. In case the requirement for manpower continues, personnel who have already completed 4 years of Tenure Based Engagement are eligible to apply for a 2 nd Term against Notification. EMOLUMENTS : The selected candidates will be paid consolidated emoluments based on their post qualification experience. The consolidated emoluments per month will be around Rs.26,000/- at the minimum level of induction. The consolidated remuneration would comprise of the following items: Basic Pay + Personal Pay Dearness Allowance(revised quarterly) on the Basic Pay + Personal Pay House Rent Allowance as per classification of Cities (when Company quarter is not provided) Special Allowances at the rate of 5% of the Basic Pay + Personal Pay Washing Rs.75/- p.m. An annual increase of 3 % during the tenure shall be admissible on the Basic Pay, subject to satisfactory performance. Provident Fund contributions will be calculated taking into account the Basic Pay + Personal Pay + Dearness Allowance components of the Consolidated Emoluments. The selected candidates will also be entitled for Allowances / Benefits / Incentives, as per Rules like Canteen Subsidy / Allowance in the form of Meal Coupons, Conveyance Reimbursement for Two Wheeler / Conveyance Allowance, Allowances towards medical reimbursement, Monthly Incentive and Annual Incentive, Quarterly Performance etc. The selected candidates for posts would be entitled for higher/lower scale of Pay depending on the length of service in the relevant discipline in the Armed Forces. HEALTH Applicants should be of sound health and should meet the medical standards prescribed by the Company. Engagement of selected candidates will be subject to receipt of satisfactory medical report from the Company s Doctor as per the medical standards of the Company and satisfactory medical reports from the concerned Authority in respect of PWD candidates. APPLICATION FEE: The Application fee is Rs 200/- which is non-refundable is to be sent in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank(preferably on State Bank of India) in favour of HAL, Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad and is to be attached along with the application format at Annexure-I. Candidates belong to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from payment of Application fee. The candidate is required to write his name and post applied for on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. Candidates sponsored by Sainik Welfare Board are exempted from the payment of Application Fee. Contd..3/-

3 : 3 : SELECTION PROCEDURE Eligible candidates short-listed based on the initial screening will be called for Written Test. Selection will be made on the basis of the performance in the written test i.e., (in the order of merit of marks obtained in the written test). The date, time and venue of the written test will be intimated to the short-listed candidates by /HAL website only. The candidates should bring originals of all the relevant certificates / testimonials etc along with one set of self attested Xerox copies in support of educational qualifications, experience, date of birth, discharge book, Caste certificate (in central government format), etc while reporting for written test. Candidates will be required to attend Written Test at their own expense. All the relevant documents as per the Advertised criteria will be scrutinized before the Written Test and those candidates who are found to be meeting the advertised criteria will only be allowed for the Written Test. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Only Indian Nationals who are Ex-servicemen of IAF need to apply. Age and Experience to be counted as on HAL reserve the right to increase/decrease the specification depending upon the response. Mere submission of application will not entail a right for claiming Engagement and Employment. Candidates possessing higher qualifications than the required qualification indicated in the advertisement/notification need not apply. Candidature of such persons who possess higher qualifications than the required qualification indicated in the Advertisement/Notification and who apply for the post will be rejected. Before applying the candidates should satisfy themselves regarding eligibility criteria desired for the post. Appearance of the shortlisted candidates in the Written Test is provisional and it does not entitle them for any claim for the post. They will be treated as debarred ab- initio at any stage of the engagement process, in case they do not fulfill the essential eligibility criteria. Applicants serving in Government/Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking should forward their application through proper channel. They should produce No Objection Certificate at the time of Written Test. Engagement of selected candidates is subject to receipt of satisfactory Medical Reports from the HAL Medical Officer as per the standards prescribed by HAL as well as verification of Character and Antecedents and caste from the concerned authorities, as per rules of the Company and Vigilance Clearance (as applicable). If the information furnished by the candidate in any part of the Bio-data is found to be false or incomplete or is not found to be in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement or suppression of relevant information, the candidature / Engagement will be considered as revoked/terminated at any stage of engagement process or after engagement or joining, without any reference given to the candidate. Any sort of canvassing or influencing the officials related to the Engagement/selection process would result in immediate disqualification of the candidate. Decision of HAL Management regarding selection will be final. Further HAL Management reserves the right to fill up or otherwise any or all the notified posts and also to fill up the future vacancies if any from the valid panel of selected candidates as per the rules of the Company.
