2 Tiger Controller Tiger Controller Keri s Tiger Controller is a RISC-based multiprocess or platform strong enough to manage a 256 door network, yet tame enough to handle a single door.with Keri s high performance, low cost proximity readers, you have the ability to implement a solid access control system at a competitive price. Up to 128 controllers can be networked (RS-485 standard) to accommodate 256 individual doors using a twisted pair shielded and stranded (AWG-24 or larger) cable. With proximity readers, there is no physical wear and tear on the card, tag or reading device the card or tag is simply held up to a reader within the reader s detection range. 3 Intelliprox IP 2000X Series LCD-1 The optional LCD-1 Alpha/Numeric Plug-In Display adds access to built-in system diagnostics to aid in troubleshooting. It is highly recommended that an LCD-1 be used when setting up a new system. The IntelliProx 2000 is a groundbreaking new product that can be used as an economical single door access control system for up to 500 users. It is an extremely simple and cost-effective solution and does not require the use of a computer. Programming is accomplished via the HPP-22 Hand Held Programmer or optionally with Keri s D-LITE software.with the HPP-22, cards or tags can be added or deleted from the access database, and the operator s security PIN (personal identification number) can be changed, all by simply pointing the programmer at the reader and issuing a simple command. The IntelliProx is capable of operating as a stand-alone singledoor entry control system or as a Wiegand output reader with back-up local door control.the IntelliProx controller can be mounted almost anywhere within 500 feet of the reader (depending upon the type and maximum cable run allowed by that reader). The IntelliProx has a standard 26-bit output, allowing data to be passed through to a host controller.the IntelliProx s LED can be driven by two control lines or by a single control line to accommodate the host controller s configuration. Optionally, the door lock control relay may be used for back-up local door control should the host controller go down.
