Pawe specializes in bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, financial and public procurement law. He supervises the provision of comprehensive advice on debt collection for financial, chemical, energy, transport and companies maintaining debts resulting from factoring agreements. He has experience in banking debt collection, in particular, debts resulting from bank enforcement orders. During his extensive experience of providing legal advice re: debt collection resulting from bank enforcement orders for a bank in Poland, which belongs to one of the largest global capital groups, he has developed a high level of professional skills. He has a great deal of experience in conducting court disputes before civil courts as well as in enforcement proceedings. One of the Pawe s leading specializations is public procurement law. He represents contractors and ordering entities in public procurement proceedings. He participates in preparing Terms of Reference and tenders. He focuses on the monitoring of ordering entities actions undertaken during proceedings to ensure their accordance with public procurement law. In his current practice, Pawe has represented numerous clients especially from the construction, telecommunications and railway sectors before the National Chamber of Appeal and common courts in cases concerning complaints against decisions of the National Chamber of Appeal. She holds the license of a receiver which entitles her to perform the actions of a receiver, supervisor and administrator pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Law of February 28, She is experienced in bankruptcy declaration, reporting receivables in bankruptcy proceedings, exclusion of parts of a creditor s assets from the bankruptcy estate, contesting provisions in bankruptcy proceedings, negotiating proposals in bankruptcy arrangements, as well as in the representation of creditors in Creditors Council during liquidation. Konrad specializes in bankruptcy, restructuring and insurance law. He is particularly experienced in litigation cases before the civil, criminal and administrative courts and in arbitration matters. He possesses a great deal of experience with respect to debt collection and the representation of clients before court and enforcement authorities as well as legal protection authorities. At KZP, on a daily basis, he has built and supervised the work of the debt collection team which has serviced over 1000 matters for the payment of receivables. He provides legal services to insurance companies, in particular, with respect to the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance, consumer matters, relations with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, and also issues related to compensation law. He has represented insurance companies in matters where the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance have been determined as to whether they are abusive clauses, and in other court proceedings, including those concerning claims for insurance compensation. He also advises insurance companies in the drawing up, negotiating and implementation of insurance agreements. Over the last few years he has repeatedly represented one of the largest insurance companies in Poland with respect to criminal cases, as a victim at the stage of preparatory proceedings, and as an auxiliary prosecutor in the related court proceedings, whilst also being engaged in civil matters, particularly concerning the payment of damages to redress breaches of liability negligence. In addition, he has represented insurance companies as a creditor during enforcement proceedings. 12

She provides complete legal advice to financial institutions, primarily banks and leasing companies. She has vast experience in restructuring and the collection of debt owed to institutional clients. She has participated in numerous negotiations with debtors on restructuring and repayment terms of their debts, and she drafts and coordinates the execution of settlements and restructuring agreements relating to debt repayment. As part of her practice, she has taken part in managing commercial disputes involving banks and other financial institutions. Working for financial institutions, she leads and coordinates cases involving court disputes, bankruptcy and enforcement proceedings. 21

22 Anna Golenia Associate Master of Law, University of Warsaw. Polish, English, Russian. Anna specializes in in civil, bankruptcy and recovery law. She mainly advises banks and other financial institutions. She possesses experience of handling property claims, including but not limited to conducting multi-threaded negotiations as well as providing analyses, drafting and issuing opinions with respect to pleadings, conducting court proceedings and supervision of enforcement proceedings with particular consideration of real property execution. Prior to joining KZP, she was a participant in an apprenticeship program at the Office for Experience Management of Corporate and Enterprises Banking Clients in Citibank Handlowy in Warsaw. 22
