3 Documentation Installation Please read the installation checklist provided on the SharePoint site. Known Issues A list of known issues for TxEIS is available on the SharePoint Web site. From the Home tab, select Documents > Releases and Updates > TxEIS to access the Known Issues document. Update/Release Documentation The DBA Assistant, District Administration, Login, and Security Administration Changes documentation only includes changes that are being released in the current update. For information on previous updates, see the DBA Assistant, District Administration, Login, and Security Administration Changes document for the specific update. All update/release documentation, training guides, and other associated documentation are identified by the version/release/update number (e.g., 1.1.1). Note that interim updates and patches include the build number at the end (e.g., ). Help The Help files for TxEIS are included in this update/release. Help topics that were significantly revised or added are indicated by an asterisk in the SDR number (e.g., 12345*). District Administration > Options > Session Timers District Administration > Maintenance > Non-Employee TxEIS WildFly Migration The TxEIS applications have been updated to run under Java 7 Update 60 (64-bit) and the WildFly Final application server. Please review the TxEIS Migration Steps for WildFly document for detailed instructions, which is available on the SharePoint Web site in the Home > Documents > Installation and Configuration > TxEIS folder. New Development District Administration > Options > Session Timers Added a new options page that allows you to set up session timers for Business and Student applications. (25792*) District Administration > Maintenance > Non-Employee Added a new maintenance page that allows you to establish non-employee records that can be added, retrieved, updated, and deleted. 4 DBA Assistant Utilities > Create a New Database Modified the program to not include a read-only section in Purchasing on the Inquiry > General Ledger Inquiry page. (25618) District Administration Maintenance Modified the program to rename the User Profiles menu option to Maintenance, and list User Profiles as a menu option. Tables > PMIS > First Pay Date Corrected the issue that prevented you from deleting a pay date code, even if it was not being used by PMIS Position Records, First Pay Date Forecast Conversion, and/or Forecast Conversion tables. Now, an unused pay date code can be successfully deleted. (25037) Tables > District Information Added this menu option and associated tabs (i.e., District Name/Address, Campus/Name Address, and Payroll Frequencies). As a result, this menu option and associated tabs were removed from the Finance application. (22413*) Tables > Receiving Addresses Corrected the issue that caused a program error to occur when you tried to edit an existing record. (24004) Maintenance > User Profiles Modified the program to include Finance user profiles. As a result, the User Profiles menu option and associated page (i.e., Accounts) were removed from the Finance application. (22413*) Modified the program to include Budget user profiles. As a result, the User Profiles menu option and associated page (i.e., Accounts) were removed from the Budget application. (22414*) Login Maintenance > User Profiles > Permissions Added the Allow JV Account Creation field under Finance, which allows you to save a journal voucher entry in Finance on the Maintenance > Postings > Journal Budget and Maintenance > Postings > Journal Actual tabs with an account code that does not exist in the chart of accounts. (15489*) Added the Post to Locked Account Period field under Finance, which allows you to post to the current accounting period even if Lock Current Accounting Period is selected in Finance on the Tables > District Finance Options > Accounting Periods tab. 5 Security Administration Inquiry Modified the program to only retrieve records according to the selected parameters. Previously, if you inquired on table bpo_req, then records for tables bpo_req, bpo_req_accnts, and bpo_req_items were retrieved. Or, if you inquired on table bpo_req_items, then records for tables bpo_req and bpo_req_accnts were not retrieved. Now, records are retrieved accordingly. (24539) Release
