With smartflower TM, we have created the world s first all-in-one plug & play photovoltaic system, which, in addition to an exceptional and timeless design, contains intelligent high-end technology which is light and easy to operate. SMART USE smartflower TM is delivered as a complete system and bolted to the substrate at a location of your choice. At the touch of a button, the magic begins: The housing opens and the approx. 18 m 2 large solar panel surface unfolds and automatically turns to the sun. As soon as the sun sets, smartflower TM folds its module compartments into a safety position. At the touch of a button, the system completely disappears into the robust housing. The system can be put into operation with ease and is simple to control via the guided menu on the mounted screen. SMART TRACKING 40 % more output due to dual-axis tracking. smartflower TM follows the sun by means of GPS controlled tracking, even in cloudy conditions. Thanks to GPS, it is possible to find the position of the sun at any location worldwide. This ensures that smartflower TM always provides the highest possible output.

11 SMART SAFET Y SMART CLEANING smartflower TM remains clean due to an innovative self-cleaning mechanism. Thus, losses in electricity production are minimised and efficiency is maximised. smartflower TM permanently monitors the wind speed by means of wind sensors and automatically moves into a safety position at a defined wind strength, i.e. before the system can be damaged. In the case of fire, smartflower TM offers a significant advantage over roof-top systems, as the system can be disconnected from the power supply at any time and thus presents no danger during fire-fighting operations.

At a wind speed of 15 m/sec (54 km/h), smartflower TM automatically moves into safety position 1 to reduce the wind pressure on the modules. At the same time, the wind monitor continues to record all changes in wind conditions. If the speed decreases, the system resumes the normal tracking mode. If the wind speed exceeds m/sec (63 km/h), smartflower TM automatically moves into safety position 2. In the case of an oncoming storm or hail, it is recommended that smartflower TM is completely retracted into the housing.
