MDF business is an environment-friendly business converting waste materials and low-efficient materials into good industrial resources which creates high value added and efficient use of natural forest resources at the same. We challenge to the field of technology-intensive future lumber business. FORESCO MDF The FORESCO Advantage FORESCO Classic MDF evokes the qualities of natural wood while conferring the advantages of superior uniformity and adaptability. Each panel is quality-tested and designed to last long after even the most demanding manufacturing procedures. Although our classic MDF is made with over 70% post-industrial recycled content and bonded with low-emitting adhesives, it can still be machined and finished to a superior standard-making it an overall very versatile, efficient and environmentally friendly product. FORESCO STANDARD FORESCO STANDARD product is high density engineered wood panel to improve anisotropy of natural wood. Its excellent surface and internal bond allows good function of machining. Its high stability allows suitability of molding, cutting, and other machining and it is easy to apply with other surface processing such as LPM and Laminate. FORESCO LIGHT FORESCO LIGHT is light density product with standard level of surface and processing. It has high dense structure for holding strength of screw, nail and stapler. It has 10~20% lower density compared to STANDARD to improve workability and convenience and it is cost effective product for molding, coating and finishing. FORESCO ULTRA LIGHT FORESCO ULTRA LIGHT is very low density product due to combination of FORESCO s resin technology and manufacturing know-how. Although its significant characteristic of light weight, excellent density profile allows stable surface strength and uniform core density. It has 30% lower density compared to STANDARD and it is very cost effective product for interior use except for routing purposes

Because they are processed with FORESCOLOR which has ultra low emission of formaldehyde and TVOC, they are not harmful to human health and meet safety standards for material to use of children s toy. Embossed boards are made from wood material of pine trees; the tree fibers visible on the surface not only have the unique qualities of wood, they can also feel like the texture of natural timber, traditional Korean paper, or marble. FORESPURE NAF(No Added Formaldehyde) MDF is the most eco-friendly product manufactured using a process whereby no formaldehyde resin is added. The FORESPURE NAF MDF is manufactured based on natural vegetable adhesive from soy. Its ultra low formaldehyde emissions are no greater than those released by a tree in nature. It can be used with other fire retardant surface materials and it is suitable interior product for Fire service act and building regulation. FORESCO FR is superior flame retardant product by impregnating the fibers with halogen-free flame retardant. It is a wood based panel that passively inhibits the spread of fire and smoke. When the display lighting is shining on it, FORESCOLOR-Black can highlight the exhibit materials. The showroom presents FORESCO s ongoing endeavor to create the best-quality FORESCOLOR through innumerable design development and grafting of different fabrication techniques. 23 2013 FORESCOLOR Nursery in the Government Complex-Sejong Color can stimulate creative abilities for children to develop expression. The box shelves for books and the nursery were built with FORESCOLOR. The tree supplies the building materials for both playing space and learning space for children. FORESCOLOR s 9 different colors provide an opportunity to increase children s capacity for imagination and thinking. Kukbo Design, the design studio of Korea, chose FORESCOLOR-Black as the interior building material for its Seoul office to help employees concentrate better and stimulate creative thinking. 26 2014 FORESCOLOR CHA Medical Center FORESCOLOR is being used to extend the application of wood for more different uses. At CHA Medical Center, FORESCOLOR was used for the wall panel in its lecture halls. This had the benefit of shortening the construction times with minimum processing. Additionally, the combination of FORESCOLOR-Black and FORESCOLOR-Yellow induces a visual effect of depth and grandeur. LG Exhibit Hall chose FORESCOLOR-Black as the material for its digital equipment display rack because it was critical in creating surroundings where customers could focus their attention on the products without being disturbed by the surrounding. 31 2014 FORESCOLOR Bud series Bench For one blossom of flower to bloom Designer Kyung Soo Park of Hongik University used the motif of flowers and the language of flowers to create a series of benches dubbed Bud Series Bench. The benches are assembled by connecting boards with seam joints, resulting in a sturdier form of the bench. In addition, FORESCOLOR-Yellow, which was used in building the information desk and wall panels, rendered a soft, cozy ambience to the exhibit. 36 2014 FORESCOLOR Yonsei Ace Orthopedic Surgery Instead of using typical white wall for hospital, Yonsei Ace Orthopedic Surgery s walls were constructed with FORESCOLOR-Gray; thus resulting in a simpler, more distinct look. 37 2014 FORESCOLOR Mizuno Golf Shop The advantages of FORESCOLOR were fully utilized in creating a golf shop with distinct interior. Because FORESCOLOR has consistent color distribution from surface to all the way trough, it requires no additional painting for the edges. This was FORESCOLOR s main feature and was exploited by constructing the ceiling with FORESCOLOR-Gray; with its interior exposed, however, it looked flashy and 3-dimensional. 38 2014 FORESCOLOR Apartment interior in Dongtan Instead of an ordinary wall panel material, FORESCOLOR-Black was installed in residential apartment. 39 2014 FORESCOLOR Mass Studies (Architectural Models) Architectural models are made when blueprints and perspectives are inadequate for the detailed examination of the design. FORESCOLOR was used in creating these models, which were shown in exhibitions. Light Gray is an effective material for representing cement when the use of actual cement for the model is impractical. 40 2014 FORESCOLOR Bandi & Luniʼs Bandi & Luniʼs chose FORESCOLOR-black for its shop interior color to highlight goods for sale. Because FORESCOLOR requires minimum sanding and coating, the construction time and cost could be saved. Place of Installation : Seocho-gu, Seoul Purpose : Shop interior 76 77

41 2014 FORESCOLOR The National Museum of Korean Contemporary History A museum is normally a somber and solemn place, but the Korean History Museum made the decision to install a sculpture constructed with FORESCOLOR-Red to pique visitors curiosity. In contrast with the external red, the exhibition halls in the interior of the museum were decorated in green color to create an environment where visitors could concentrate on viewing the exhibits. 42 2015 FORESCOLOR Cheil Office in Seoul To create an atmosphere for high concentration and productivity, FORESCOLOR-Black was used for its interior material. Artificial grass was installed in areas surrounding FORESCOLOR, producing tranquil harmony despite the contrast in color. 43 2015 FORESCOLOR Book Cafe On the Desk FORESCOLOR was used in the interior decoration of the premium cafe style study center On the Desk. FORESCOLOR-Black and Gray were the materials selected for the interior to make calm surrounding for reading. Moreover, Black and Gray colors showed good harmony with the existing brick wall and steel structure, so the interior project produced a cafe with a very calm decor.
