WHAT MAKES MIAD GREAT: MIAD is the only private fully accredited art and design college in Wisconsin; formerly the legendary Layton School of Art. With approximately 650 undergraduate students, MIAD has a student/faculty ratio of 12:1. Our campus, in Milwaukee s Historic Third Ward, offers students access to some of the largest studio spaces and outstanding visual art and design facilities in the country. Financial aid candidates must file FAFSA. 25 th percentile: th percentile: 29 WHAT MAKES MSOE GREAT: MSOE offers 20 bachelor degrees and nine master degrees in engineering, business, mathematics, and nursing. The placement rate for MSOE graduates is 96 percent. In the 2013 U.S. News & World Report rankings, MSOE ranked 10 th in Best Undergraduate Engineering Program. All classes are taught by dedicated professors with real-world experience (there are no teaching assistants), and students receive an average of 600 hours of laboratory experience. Students can relax in the Kern Center, MSOE s health, wellness, fitness and recreation facility, or the Grohmann Museum, which features more than 900 pieces of artwork from the Man at Work collection.
