8 HOW TO APPLY Complete the online application ( and submit the following items: 1. Application fee of $50.00 USD online or send money order or cashier s check. 2. Official transcripts from all schools attended. In English as well as the native language. All transcripts must be original and your program of interest. 3. TOEFL or IELTS scores. 4. A brief typed resume (graduate students only). 5. A one-page statement of purpose stating why you would like to enroll at CUW. 6. Two (2) reference letters from previous teachers and/or employers. 7. Proof of funding for a minimum of one year of study. If a relative or parent is sponsoring you, please submit their letter of support along with their bank statements. 8. If available, please enclose a copy of your passport. If currently in the U.S., please provide copies of your I-94, passport, and visa. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Undergraduates: GPA must be equivalent to a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, and the required minimum TOEFL score to be accepted to CUW: at least a 61 on the internetbased test OR a minimum score of 5.5 on the IELTS. Graduates: GPA must be equivalent to a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and the required minimum TOEFL score to be accepted to CUW s Graduate Programs: at least 81 on the internet-based test OR a minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS. No GRE/GMAT is required.
