3 Preface Exceed One Backup (hereafter, EOB) is an application to save data on SharePoint Online to local storage. Please refer our homepage or product page regarding the latest information of EOB. Sites Professional Professional Plus General Sites Backup is possible Backup is possible Personal Sites (OneDrive for Business) It can not be selected for backup. Backup is possible The difference in the operation of the edition, please refer to this manual. 3

Screen constitution 1)Screen constitution You can cheese following function. 1 File Sign in: show sign in screen to Office365 Finish : finish EOB 2 Setting Language : Change language Regist : Register license * After license registration, it becomes Unregist. Cancel license registration. Site Config : Setting of SharePoint. Creating batch config file : Create a configuration file for batch processing. 4

5 3 Help Manual : Open the web site of this manual. License : Open the web site of license agreement. Version : Open the Version information dialog. 4 Site Display the site for backup after sign in. 5 Backup Mode You can choose back up mode. Full(Overwrite) If the same file exists in the destination, it will save by overwriting. Difference It does not overwrite if the file exists in the destination. Conditions: file size and updated date and time are the same 6 Including hidden object You can choose whether to save the hidden objects that are set in SharePoint. With check Save hidden object. Without check Do not save hidden object. 7 Path Choose or enter a save path. 8 Execute Start backup. Processing when you click the "Cancel" during the backup process is aborted. 9 Processing log Show situation processing. 5

6 2)Start When you start the EOB, appears Sign-in screen to Office365. If you do the initial startup and settings to close the Sign-in dialog with "Cancel". 6

7 2. License registration 1)Choose menu Config Regist, show registration form. 2)Entering license key and Click the Registration. 3)License will be registered. If the license registration fail, check the license key, please perform the registration again. 7

8 3.Install 1)Registration of application 1 Open a site : Sharepoint URL)/_layouts/15/appregnew.aspx ex) 2 Input following information Client Id : push the Generate button, it is entered automatically. Client Secret : push the Generate button, it is entered automatically. Tittle : EOB App Domain : localhost Redirect URL : 3 Click "Create" button, "Application ID has been successfully created." is displayed, you write down values that is displayed. That information require in the post-process. Important) Since the value that is displayed is the information that is needed, such as during re-installation, please keep it in a safe place. The validity of client secret for SharePoint is 1 year. Please refer 8.Supplementary Explanation. 8

9 2)Registration of authority 1 Open a site : Sharepoint URL)/_layouts/15/appinv.aspx e.g. 2 Input following information App Id : copied Client ID Tittle : EOB App Domain : localhost Redirect URL: Permission Request XML : Copy the contents of which are included with the product "PrmXML.txt". 3 Click Create. 9

10 4 Click Trust it, when Do you trust EOB? is showed. 3)Obtain application ID (Realm) 1 Open a site : Sharepoint URL)/_layouts/appprincipals.aspx e.g. 2 Copy application ID (That information require in the post-process.) Important) Since the value that is displayed is the information that is needed, such as during re-installation, please keep it in a safe place. 10

11 4)Setting of EOB 1 Start EOB. And please close Sign-in dialog by Cancel. 2 Click Config Site Config. 3 Input following values on "Site Parameter Configuration" form. ClientId : ClientId that was registered in the application registration site. ClientSecret : ClientSecret that was registered in the application registration site. AppId : AppId that has been displayed in the Application ID(Realm) site. 4 Click Create. 5 Click Yes when confirmation dialog of reboot is showed. 11

12 6 After reboot, EOB reboot automatically. And you will sign in to your Office365. Site : Your SharePoint URL Account : Sign-in account Password : Password 7 Click Sign in. If registration to SharePoint and EOB setting is correct, shown site tree after sign in SharePoint. If the Sign-in does not go normally, please check the setting again. 12

13 4.How to back up 1)Select the sites that you want to backup. All sites backup. Sub site only backup. *"Personal Sites" is displayed in the case of professional plus, you can be selected. 2)Specify backup mode. Backup Mode : Overwrite / Difference Include hidden object : Check if you want to backup a hidden object. Path : Path name of local storage of backup destination. 3)Click Execute. Start backup automatically. 13

14 * If you want to cancel during processing, Click Cancel. Click OK when cancel request dialog is showed. Caution) If the file is being saved, it takes some time until the process is interrupted. 14

15 5.How to back up by command line 1)Select the sites that you want to backup. All sites backup. Sub site only backup. 2)Specify backup mode. Backup Mode : Overwrite / Difference Include hidden object : Check if you want to backup a hidden object. 3)Click Config Creating Batch config file. 15

16 4)Specify the save-path and name of the batch configuration file, and then save the file. 5)Set of command line Start a command prompt, and set the parameters for the backup. 17 About automatic mode If you specify the Automatic mode, the settings of 1) you have made will be ignored. Automatic mode backs up all sites that exist at the time of execution. If you want to always back up all of the site, automatic acquisition mode is convenient. If you make regular backups Create a batch file that specifies the parameters for backup, please run from the Windows Task Scheduler. Reference : SampleBatchFile.cmd 17

20 2)Delete from SharePoint 1 Open a site : Sharepoint URL)/_layouts/appprincipals.aspx e.g. 2 Click X mark written on left side of EOB. 3 Click OK. 20

21 8.Supplementary Explanation 1)Restriction of a Pathnames It cannot backup properly, if folder name and file name is over 260 characters. If you failed backup, you change a path to be under 260 characters. 2)Client Secret of expiration Have an expiry date to the Client Secret, and expire in one year. Before expired, set following procedure. Re-Install Carry out 2)Delete from SharePoint of 7.Uninstall, delete registration from SharePoint.
