You have been selected to staff the UPW event in Rome, Italy, (24th 27 th June 2010), at FIERA DI ROMA (Via Eiffel,Traversa di via Portuense, 1555) A staff meeting will be held on the 23 rd June 2010, please see details below. SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION FOR NO ENGLISH SPEAKING CREW Seminar Venue VENUE Nuova Fiera di Roma Via Eiffel Traversa di via Portuense, miles from Fiumicino International Airport Leonardo Da Vinci. How to reach Visit and see how to get there From Airport By taxi: is about 20 euros fares ( it is extra urban fare) By train: 10 minutes journey- stop at Fiera di Roma. To know timetable of trains visit (write departure from Fiumicino Airport stop at Fiera di Roma) 1

2 Please keep in mind that last train leaves at 10 pm and seminar ends later CREW MEETING The crew meeting will be held on the 23 rd June 2010, please see details below. Join hands with Hi Performance to make this an unforgettable time. A COMPULSORY Staff Registration will start on Wednesday, 23 rd June at 4pm. Please follow the direction signs to the Staff Registration. After the registration a COMPULSORY Staff briefing will follow at 6pm until 11 pm. During this meeting, all the relevant people who will be working very closely with you on this event will be introduced to you. There will be a short review of the event schedule, as well as the assignment of CREW POSITIONS and job descriptions. You will be registered and given Shirts, Wristbands, and Name badges. Registration and Staff briefing are compulsory, because during the meeting you ll get important information how to be an outstanding crew. So all Staff MUST attend the COMPULSORY meeting; otherwise you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT AT ALL. Please, BRING A FORM OF IDENTIFICATION WITH YOU. Thank you for your comprehension and co-operation! USUEFUL INFORMATION ATTIRE Dress code is casual. HOTEL ACCOMODATION You are responsible for your own accommodation during this event. Should you wish to book into any of the Hotels recommended by Hi Performance, please book online through web site Service is free of charge and it is organized by Visit Italy an Italian tour operator For direct contact call or write to Chiara (0) [email protected] If you want to stay in the hotel with all the other members of the crew, select PING PONG Hotel, on the Ostia s beach, 15 minutes far from the venue. 3 Please note that the rooms are limited and subject to availability. We advice to book as soon as possible SHUTTLE BUS HOTEL- FIERA -HOTEL Upw is an intense full day seminar and it is requested that crew will arrive very early in the morning for the daily meeting ( around 6.30/7 am). So we strongly recommend to book your shuttle bus, serving every morning from your hotel to Fiera and return every night You can book it with Visit Italy on when you select your hotel N.b. for logistic reasons, shuttle bus has to be booked in advance when you make your hotel reservation and it is reserved only for crew who make the booking through When you make your reservation please inform Visit Italy that you re a crew member. Your bus schedule is different from the ones of participants TRAVEL You are responsible for your own travel arrangements. Please check venue web site to know direction. Those who travel with children and need baby-sitter service during the seminar, can write to [email protected], we will put in touch with other crews asking for the same. MEALS Hi Performance will provide all Staff members with meals from Thursday 24 th to Sunday 27 th. You will collect your meal ticket during the daily meeting SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION IMPORTANT!!! Please read carefully!!! Credit card guarantee If you don t speak English fluently and you want to use simultaneous translation ( Italian, French, German and Spanish) when you re in the main room, please fill out the form at last page. Translation is free of charge, however, the company who rents the infra-red headsets asks a credit card of 230 euros as a deposit No charge will be done and your datas will be stored by us and use only in case of loss or damage. Without this deposit it is not possible to collect headsets.
