1 (IMRG) About (IMRG) On location to a country that we will deployed, the medical team has and will partnered with local agencies. We train the communities in Basic to advanced first aid. We provide medical assessment and treatment of patients. We Help set up temporary medical clinics. All professional rescuers are volunteers who dedicate their time to assist a country in need! We donate our time, medical supplies and equipment!(1) (1) Restrictions may apply. Executive Director - Stephane Roger Mr Roger founded IMRG division of Canadian Group Emergency Services. To honour the memory of his mother who was a national educator and world traveler, Mr Roger created IMRG to assist countries in medical education and disaster relief. In just 12 years, Mr Roger efficient organization is recognized in North America. In the past 10 years, IMRG dvisions of CGET Inc has been deployed over 10 times in more than 6 countries. IMRG deploys a group of Volunteer Canadian professional rescuers such as paramedics, doctors, nurses, medical responders, firefighters and Search and Rescue technicians.

3 We can provide disaster relief services in association with local governmental agencies and non governmental agencies. The Response Team has the following specialize equipment for Medical Assistance and Disaster Response: 1. Medical Response Unit (trailer) with all medical equipment identical to a paramedic ambulance unit 2. 2 Stretcher on wheels with 4 medical back boards 3. 1 medical disaster trauma board 4. 2 medical wilderness trauma board 5. 2 cases of medical supplies (bandages, etc ) 6. 6 O2 oxygen units 7. 2 AED Defibrillator unit and 1 cardiac monitor 8. 2 medical tents with 8 medical cots 9. 4 trauma response bags splint kits trauma tractions kits 12. GPS units & communication devices water purification systems inflatable rescue boat 15. Specialize rescue equipment
4 The Medical delegated acts performed by the response team includes; A) Symptom relief medication administration i) Epinephrine meds for severe allergic patients ii) Ventolin medication for asthma patients iii) ASA medication for Heart patients iv) Nitroglycerin med for Heart patients v) Acetaminophen med for Fever and pain relief patients vi) Ibuprofen med for muscle and pain relief patients vii) Glucose gel, tablets or Glucagon for diabetic patients viii) Other as per requirement or availabilities B) Immunization program i) Immunization for Malaria ii) Immunizaton for the flu iii) Other Immunization as per requirement or availabilities C) Temporary Medical & Wellness Clinic i) Set up temporary medical clinic with all primary equipment a) Tent, Medical Cots, Stretchers, Medical supplies b) Health promotion clinic c) Health prevention clinic d) providing a complete range of primary care medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness e) occupational health assessment and surveillance for patients from a broad spectrum of occupations and professions f) independent medical examination and medical expertise including functional assessment as well as evaluation and case specific recommendations pertaining to patient care modalities. D) Medical Response Team i) Response to medical crisis ii) Rapid response pack contains: Defibrillation, Oxygen therapy administration, Med Trauma Bag, Evacuation stretcher. E) Medical & First Aid Training I) Provide training to local communities in the following programs: a) Basic to Advanced First Aid b) Basic to Advanced Medical Responder c) Basic to Advanced Resuscitation d) Advanced Cardiac Life Support e) Pediatric Advanced Life Support f) Specialized Site Specific Training
5 We provide symptom relief and immunization when required to local communities in need. All medical protocols are supervised by the Medical director, Dr. Ginette Lalonde-Kontio. We provide volunteers to teach first aid and medical training to local agencies requiring assistance. This empowers local organizations to train their peers and public!

He is a certified AED instructortrainer, First Aid & CPR Provincial Trainer, WHMIS & OHS Instructor, Dive Master, Rescue Diver, Boat Rescue Instructor, Search & Rescue Instructor, Aquatic Emergency Care Instructor Trainer, National Lifeguard Instructor Trainer and was the lead medic of a Canadian Search and Rescue Team. Mr Roger has been involved as an Emergency Medical Response technician with an aboriginal community in the Northwest Territories, Canada. He functioned as a public education safety program co-ordinator. He was the keynote speaker at numerous international and national lifesaving conferences and has taught several surf lifeguard and boat rescue courses in the United States and Canada. Mr. Roger has travelled extensively teaching and consulting several organizations. He has taught as a teacher for a Community College in Ottawa a health and safety program. He is the author of several advanced first aid manuals. Mr Roger has taken several advanced paramedicine courses. Mr Roger s Canadian & American Accreditations & Affiliations: Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (Ontario branch) Royal Life Saving Society of Canada (Ontario branch), National Association of Underwater Instructors (USA) & Divers Alert Network (USA), National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (USA) National Board of Diving Hyperbaric Medical Technology (USA).
7 International Medical Response Group - Medical Staff *All the medical response staff have enhanced to secret clearance and are fully insured. IMRG has a staff of 15 medical responders. Most staff speak more than 2 languages and have international experience. Ginette Lalonde-Kontio, B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed., CCFP, MD (Medical Director) Mme. Kontio is a graduate of McMaster University with several years of practical experience as a medical doctor in Canada and abroad. She is in the process of completing a Master of Aviation Medicine- Aero medical Evacuation. She was the lead doctor on several expedition and world disasters such a medical support to a research expedition in Antarctica & Greenland onboard a research ship.planning for contingencies in a remote setting and preparing requisite resources for the provision of medical care in the event of acute injury, exacerbation of chronic disease, and urgent care or evacuation Humanitarian relief mission in Haïti physician in a field hospital. Co-ordination of Air evacuation liaison and repatriation of patients injured in a major earthquake.providing full spectrum emergency and primary care to casualties including the local population, international aid workers, and the diplomatic corps. Co-ordination of patient triage and referral to international aid agency partners providing a complete range of primary care medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness. Bob Brunet, M.Ed.(C), Bsc.PA.(C), Hons.) BHSc., CCP(F), (Physician Assistant) Mr Brunet is a veteran of emergency response training. He was a critical care flight paramedic with Toronto EMS. Mr Brunet has provided several Medical Evacuations in Canada and USA and author of several emergency medical references. Presently, Mr Brunet works in Ottawa as Physician Assistant. Barney Chanda B Eng, EMR ( National Education Coordinator) Mr Chanda is a veteran of emergency response training and is a former Military Officer. in the British Army at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Mr Chanda trained, commanded and soldiers and officer cadets in the Zambian Army in Africa for four years. Mr Chanda is a volunteer for the Red Cross Disaster Management. He is a certified AED, First Aid & CPR National Trainer and First Responder Instructor Trainer. As a member of the National Emergency Cardiac care Committee of Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Master-Instructor with the Canadian Red Cross and Provincial Trainer for the Royal Life Saving Society of Canada, Mr Chanda is considered an expert in the field. Mike Hector, EMCA, ACP (Advanced Paramedic & Basic Flight Paramedic) Mr. Hector is a certified First Aid & CPR Instructor-Trainer and AED Instructor. Presently, Mr Hector is working for the Toronto EMS as an Advanced Care Paramedic. He also teaches advanced medical responder courses in Canada and the USA. Patrick Lamoureux, R-EMT (Basic Paramedic) Mr Lamoureux is a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from the province of Alberta, First Aid & CPR instructor, AED Instructor, Aquatic Emergency Care Instructor, Emergency Measures Ontario (Canada) Emergency Management Certification and Royal Canadian Mounted Police and NWT Municipal and Community Affairs Urban Search and Rescue Fundamentals certification. Mr Lamoureux has been involved as an Emergency Medical Response technician with an aboriginal community (Rae-Edzo [Behchoko], Northwest Territories, Canada).He was responsible for medical response of aboriginal community of approximately 1,200 people.worked in conjunction with local Health Care Centre staff to support & execute community medicine in the village and surrounding area. Presently, Mr Lamoureux is working for Ottawa Paramedics Services as a Supervisor for 911 Emergency Services.
8 Jeffrey Lee, BSc, Bsc.N., RN, CIC (Critical Care Nurse) Mr Lee is a military nurse that is part of the DART team to Pakistan earthquake. Also, has completed two tours in Afghanistan. OP ARCHER, ROTO 6 (Critical Care Nurse) - Eight month deployment to Role 3 MMU, Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Employed in following areas: trauma resuscitation, ICU, recovery (PACU), and Medsurgical ward with secondary duties as Infection Control Officer. Limited time in OR. OP ATHENA ROTO 2 (Critical Care Nurse) - Six month deployment to Role 3 MMU, Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Employed in following areas: trauma resuscitation, ICU, recovery (PACU), and Med-surgical ward with secondary duties as Infection Control Officer.WCSTC, Whitehorse, Yukon (General Duty Nurse & 2 I/C MIR) - Employed in summer of 2003 and 2004 as general duty nurse and 2nd In-Change in ambulatory care clinic (MIR) at Boyle Barracks, Yukon. He is a First Aid & CPR Instructor, First Responder Instructor and Boat Rescue Specialist trained by the Canadian Coast Guard. Presently, Mr Lee is working for DND in Vancouver as a Course director for two serials of Advanced Military Trauma Resuscitation Course (AMTRC). IMRG has 15 medical staff presently working in Canada and USA that have international experience.
