4 City Information The City There are many attractions on the doorstep, it is rich in culture with museums, theatres and cinemas and buzzing with cafés, restaurants, bars and clubs. You can visit the home of Harry Potter, take a picnic to Christ Church meadow, drop into the Botanical Gardens, visit Alice in Wonderland s shop, take a punt onto the river or sit with a coffee and watch the world go by! With so much to do and our fun activities programme you ll never have a dull moment. 5 How to find us Bus The is in the heart of Oxford, it is very easy to catch a bus, most bus stops are less than 5 minutes walk to the school. Most host families are a minute bus ride from the centre. Transfer to your accommodation It is best to book a transfer before arrival. A driver will meet you at the airport and drive you directly to your accommodation and help you with your bags. Train There is no underground in Oxford. To go to another city it is easy to take a train from the Oxford train station, a 10 minute walk to our Oxford School from the train station. From Heathrow Airport you can take a train to Oxford but you will need to change trains. There are taxis outside the train station. Useful transport links The Trainline train tickets around England

Our heritage listed building has free wireless internet and access on campus, with multimedia computer suites and a large student lounge and several comfortable nooks to meet your friends for a chat or just relax. The school is in the centre of Oxford, with easy transport connections and is less than a minute from the main shopping precinct, ideally located for buying souvenirs, or the latest European fashions, and with many cafes and restaurants offering a wide range of food including Halal and vegetarian options within a minute of the school, you ll never be hungry. During term time, there s a choice of things to do in the evenings and weekends. England is home to many sights and plenty of activities to keep busy and happy during your stay. If you are under 18 and you wish to join and over 18 activity, you must have your parents permission. In all our schools we have weekly events for students to be involved in.
