Today, Stanley and Stella is the first in the market to offer the versatility and historical traditions of this iconic colour in a sustainable way. We have used the denim fabric and its variety of tones to create a unique and edgy collection. From T-shirts to sweaters and shirts, there is now a denim style that fits your brand. Indigo, the colour vibration. Originally having his roots in Asia, the natural indigo colour was created from a variety of plants. This colour of the rainbow offers a contrast of a natural fibre colour with many shades of blue. For centuries, this worldwide iconic colour has shaped our fashion trends; today it carries the blue symbolism of a living culture of dye and is rediscovering its versatility, sustainability and historical traditions. These intense and moody colours, distinctive by their variety of tones, offer an essential as well as uniquely edgy touch to our colour range. Innovating with organic denim. Denim is a tight weaved fabric (originally a mix of wool and silk, now mostly 100% cotton), which after being dyed with indigo dye colour is used to make jeans. In the 1960s, denim symbolized youth culture because so many young baby boomers wore denim jeans. The Denim Revolution is a term used by the radical opposition in Belarus in 2006, and their supporters in the West, who support a color revolution to implement the reintroduction of democracy, to describe their effort and aspirations. 6

All these fabrics are produced using less energy and less water while resulting in less waste. Awesome detail We pay close attention to every detail. 9 Comfortable apparel We use the most comfortable fleece fabric with 85% organic cotton and 15% polyester for optimal comfort and perfect resistance. Adding a special finishing to give a dull and mat effect. Perfect fit We create apparel people wear. That's why we pay particular attention to the shape and the perfect fit. From Fitted to Oversized, everybody is able to find their own style which fits their shape and body. Special colour effects Garment dyed means that apparel is dyed after sewing which gives a shaded used-look effect and creates a vintage look while imparting incredible softness. 138 Only sustainable fabrics 100% certified organic ring-spun combed cotton All our fabrics have been chosen with consideration for their contemporary style and their role as a printing medium. Stanley & Stella only work with eco-friendly materials. Our apparel is therefore made of 100% certified pure organic cotton or blended with fabrics like Tencel or Modal. Organic Cotton production improves soil fertility and biodiversity, thanks to diversified crop rotation and non-use of GMOs. Only natural fertilizers and pesticides are used, so groundwater and rivers are kept free of chemicals. At the same time, water irrigation is better controlled. All of Stanley & Stella s organic cotton is certified with the globallyrecognized GOTS standards. As a premium brand, we want to offer you the best. Which is why we choose to only use ring-spun combed cotton. Ring-spun fabric is softer and offers a plain, uniform surface which facilitates the best results from every kind of printing. In addition, the process of combing cotton includes special treatment of the cotton fibres during spinning that cleans them of all dirt, impurities and short fibres. This resulting fabric is comprised only of the longest fibres, making it stronger, longer-lasting. 100% biodegradable. 138

139 Tencel 100% Linen Tencel Lyocell, to give it its full name, is the most environmentally friendly man-made cellulosic fibre available today. It is produced exclusively from the wood pulp of Eucalyptus trees, which are sustainably grown on farms. Tencel is fashionable, stylish and well-known for its outstanding physical characteristics, being silky soft with a soft-flowing, luxurious drape. It is perfectly smooth, has superb depth of colour, excellent moisture absorbency and is naturally hygienic as it inhibits the growth of bacteria. Tencel, the eco fibre, makes it possible to create truly environmentallyfriendly products. Blending this with organically grown cotton, instead of conventionally grown cotton, gives consumers the opportunity to experience textiles made entirely of ecologically responsible fibres. 100% biodegradable. Lenzing Modal The Softer Botanic Fibre. Modal is a man-made regenerated cellulosic fibre made from sustainably cultivated forest plantations of beech wood trees transformed into pulp and fibre through the unique Edelweiss technology, based on oxygen-based chemistry. Lenzing Modal is the only sustainable Modal in the world today. Lenzing Modal is the perfect fibre for fabrics worn next to the skin for day and night, active and relaxation activities. Same as for the Tencel, the botanic principle means that more trees are planted that convert carbon dioxide and water into wood and pure oxygen via photosynthesis. 100% biodegradable. Skin Microclimate Fibre. Linen is a natural cellulosic fibre from the flax plant, wanted by most high-end stylists because it has exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather and unrivalled ventilated comfort. Fabric with natural thick/thin/slub character giving a textured feel, which is considered as part of the linen fabric s particular charm. Produced without waste, and using less energy, less water, linen does not harm nature. Wool We have decided to mix Cotton and Wool, to have the warmth of the wool and the softness and comfort of the cotton. This gives a real winter product while keeping the sustainability and the premium quality of the styles. The fabric is soft, really comfortable to wear and warm for the winter season. It also gives a "casual chic" look. Loose Knit Loose knit means knitting with large, loose (with less tension than usual regular dense knitting). Loose knitting provides a relaxed casual look with an extremely comfortable feeling thanks to the unbeatable elasticity of the fabric. All print techniques are suitable on the loose Knit fabric, but the loose knit appearance will provide an open structure look to prints. 139

Our affiliation with Fairwear Foundation (Corporate Social Responsibility) as well as our high standard certifications (GOTS, OCS 100, OCS Blended, OEKO TEX, REACH) prove our commitment to sustainable and healthy practices. From fibre sourcing to distribution of the finished product, we scrutinise every process and every supplier for sustainability. Our fabrics are constructed from fibres which are either organically grown or derived from sustainable sources. All of which are produced using less water and without harmful chemicals. Our yarns are spun and our fabrics knitted and dyed on water and energyefficient machines. Our wet processing / dyeing conforms with GOTS, OEKO-TEX and REACH standards, exceeding them where possible. Alternative use is found for the by-products from our manufacturing process. Our suppliers and people working for them are paid a fair price. And we help them improve their businesses and profitability by sharing knowledge and ideas that lead to smarter operation.
