A2- States normal and abnormal structure and function of human body. 1

2 A3- Classify etiology, clinical picture, diagnoses and complications of common and life threatening problems affecting patients with different age groups. A4- Recognize principles of nursing management of common and life threatening health problems in different age group. A5- Identifies determinants of health and principles of different levels of prevention for different age groups and settings. A6- Discuss principles and concepts of leadership/ management, education, human interactions and research. B- Intellectual skills B1- Synthesizes assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses, for minor &major health problems. B2- Formulates specific nursing care plan to meet needs/ problems taking into account time frame, workload and available resources within the context of holistic care. B3- Uses reasoning skills in prioritizing actions. B4- Synthesizes knowledge derived from, medical, nursing, humanities courses for the development of decision making in health practice. B5- Detect relevant physical, psychosocial and cultural determinants factors of health &illness. B6- Assist patient/ client to make informed health care decisions. B7- Use clinical evidence for solving health problems related to management of patient care and organization. Utilize the nursing process (assessment, needs identification, planning, implementation and evaluation) as a framework for providing competent nursing care to patient/ client (individual, families and or communities) in different health care settings. 11. Utilize leadership/ management principles to manage work setting and empower other nurses to promote quality patient/ client care. 12. Establish professional therapeutic interactions with patient/ client and takes on an advocacy role during their interactions with the health care system. 13. 8 8- Program registration requirements: 1. To be Holder of the Secondary Education Final Certificate (scientific section) or a certificate considered as equivalent. 2. Graduates of the Secondary Technical Schools,3-years system will be admitted to faculty. The accepted applicants must be acquired at least 75%. Furthermore, the applicant should pass examination at level of the general secondary final examination( Scientific Section ), in the following subjects( Chemistry- Physics- Arabic Language English Language under the supervising of the supreme Council of the Universities ). 3. Graduates of Technical Institute of Health and Graduates of Technical Institute of, nursing branch are accepted to the second year of undergraduate program,if they obtained a minimum grade of 75%upon graduation. The University council will accept only 10% of the total of students enrolled in 2 ed year. 4. The faculty accept applicants who are holding education certificate if they pass the secondary school with scientific section. All enrolled students should be full time students. 5. To have the English language as the first foreign language. 6. To pass the personal test that is held by the Faculty, Council. 7. To pass the medical check up. 8. The duration of study for Bachelor Degree of nursing shall be four academic study years followed by one mandatory internship year in the university hospitals and under the supervision of the faculty. 9- Roles and Regulation to Completion The Program: 1. Students are promoted to the next year if they succeeded in all subjects or faild in not more than 2 subjects other than nursing,courses. 2. First year students are not allowed to sit for final exam more than two times, while second year students can have a third chance. If they did not make it within this allocated numbers they have to apply for a transfer. As for a third and fourth year students, they can have additional years depending on the student's status. 8
