August 2007-December 2007 Clinical Researcher NIDA Funded Grant: Juvenile Assessment and Referral Services in the Juvenile Justice System PI: Faye Taxman, Ph.D. Duties: Help develop training and development curriculum for Juvenile Justice Probation Officers to facilitate utilization of assessment, treatment planning, and service case management. Conduct assessment of current assessment and referral procedures in various Juvenile Justice Services offices throughout the state of MD. Clinical Researcher Internship Research Project Anti-Social Personality Disorder prevalence and correlates within a VA chronic pain treatment population. Duties: Develop and complete a research project including the organization, entry, and analysis of an archival data set for presentation and possible manuscript preparation; project scope includes addressing ASPD prevalence among veterans seeking treatment for chronic pain, comorbidity of ASPD and Axis I disorders, and ASPD as a predictor of poor treatment outcome within this population.
