DAVID HUCKER CONSULTING, LLC Registered Consulting Arborist #388 Rates Hourly: Consultation and Expert Services................................ $195.00 Deposition, Mediation, Arbitration or Trial*....................... $295.00 *Prepayment for estimated costs will be required Travel rate up to eight hours per task............................. $195.00 Travel rate after eight hours per task............................. $ 95.00 Administrative Assistant Services as Required...................... $ 45.00 A four hour minimum fee shall be associated with all new matters. Billing is calculated in units of a quarter of an hour for all time devoted to the assignment. This includes but is not limited to telephone conferences, meetings, travel, investigation, document review, research, generation of report, etc. Any figures quoted for the cost of services are merely estimates. Hourly rates may change on an annual basis and may affect active accounts. Invoicing of ongoing accounts is normally performed on a monthly basis. Payment shall be made within 30 days of receipt. The party accepting this schedule shall be responsible for payment unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Accepting party is responsible for payment of all billing generated by J. David Hucker Consulting, LLC under the terms of this agreement without regard for any of the following: (a) professional conclusions reached, (b) legal outcomes resulting, and (c) benefit any other party may or may not realize. A retainer fee will be required on acceptance of new matters. Retainers will be commensurate with the new assignment and must be received before work starts on the matter. This fee may not represent the total cost of the work to be performed. If for some reason it becomes necessary for me to withdraw from this agreement prior to the full expenditure of the retainer, all unearned fees shall be returned. If for some reason you elect to dismiss me from this agreement prior to the full expenditure of the retainer, the balance shall not be refundable. Additional expenses incurred or sublet service charged (i.e. outside laboratory work, photography, telephone costs, etc.) are charged on an individual cost basis. Accepted by: Date: Please print:
