Employees responsibilities Ensure discipline and company safety arrangements and procedures are followed at all times Use all work equipment and personal protective equipment properly and in accordance with training received Report any safety deficiencies, accidents, near misses and cases of ill health to their line manager
Employees responsibilities Cont Work safely at all times giving due consideration for the safety of others Assist the company during investigations of accidents and safety related incidents Notify line management of safety training needs Assist the company and discipline in improving safety systems and performance through consultation, co-operation and communication Inform their line manager of any physical or mental condition that affects their ability to work safely

Investigation Ring the MITIE Lifeline immediately The Line Manager will then carry out the investigation within five working days Inform your QHSE Manager if the accident leads to: Someone going to hospital Or having time off work A visit from the HSE or local EHO For all serious accidents the QHSE Manager will carry out a further investigation
HSE Booklet-Your Well Being Basic HSE information including safe systems of work and knowledge of MITIE Requirements and how we control hazards at work Acknowledgement slip MUST be signed, dated and returned to the personnel file
Documentation Site pack Contains all relevant legal compliance documents and other documents detailing the safe running of the contract such as risk assessments, COSHH assessments and method statements Branch Safety file Contains safety documents for the office including a fire risk assessment, office assessment, environmental assessments and display screen equipment assessments for all office based staff
