This plan is designated for employees traveling outside of their home country but is not available to employees who reside in the United States. Access to the Aetna U.S. network is available only to those subscribers who may travel on occasion to the United States. These medical plan design options offer either our Open Choice Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) or Open Access Managed Choice network for care received inside the U.S. Regardless of the medical plan chosen, your members have the freedom to visit a doctor or medical facility of their choice without a referral, anywhere in the world. Coverage levels and payment responsibilities may differ depending on the country in which members access care.
