9 Focus1:FI basic research&testing in China p MOST(Ministry of Science and Technology) is now charge of FI technology innovation in China 863 projects and 973 projects, and national major projects had support new network architecture and core technologies FI will be an important part of 13th fiveyear plan, high level design of FI research is under drafting. p NDRC(National Development and Reform Commission) is now charge of FI technology testing and demonstration in China Based on 12th fiveyear plan, national Future network testing environment is planning to start up. 4 teams are actively applying the construction of FI testing environment. China FI testing and innovation environment will include more 2000 nodes, and interworking with GENI and FIRE p MIIT(Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) is now charge of FI technology deployment in China SDN and NFV is been deployed in network operators and ICP/ISP

13 Focus2: New FI technology deployment p Targets: Through the network technology innovation and deployment, to break the current relatively closed network ecosystem, to open more and more network functions to Internet applications, so as to release the innovation power of ISP/ICP Technology background: Now network is a main factor to block Internet application innovation. p SDN/NFV is the only future network implementation technology with broad consensus p SDN / NFV advocated the concepts of network openness: (1) network device architecture open; (2) network open to the application ; (3) the standardization of network components, interchangeability
