If you are offered a sport volunteer role, you will receive notification of your role and venue by email or mail. Details will then follow regarding training sessions, uniform and accreditation collection, and rosters. If your application is unsuccessful we will contact you to offer you a place as a reserve sport volunteer. In circumstances where a suitable sport volunteer role becomes available in the lead up to the Games, the 13AMG Volunteer Program will contact reserve sport volunteers. The 13AMG Volunteer Program endeavours to engage the majority of Games Volunteers during public transport operating hours. SECTION F GENERAL INFORMATION To ensure the safety of all personnel involved with the 13 th Australian Masters Games, volunteers may be required to undergo a Police Check as part of the selection process. SECTION G VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT As a volunteer assisting the 13 th Australian Masters Games ( 13AMG ) (including its employees, agents and contractors), I agree that, at all times, I shall: Work for 13AMG in a volunteer capacity without financial payment or incentive; Abide by the Terms and Conditions outlined in the 13AMG Volunteer Code of Conduct as amended from time to time; Abide by the policies and procedures of 13AMG as amended from time to time; Attend all volunteer training sessions as required by 13AMG; Attend all volunteer shifts as allocated by 13AMG, and inform the Volunteer Program or my Games supervisor as soon as possible if I am unavailable due to illness, injury or extreme circumstances; Represent 13AMG in a professional and courteous manner at all times; Undertake my tasks and duties as outlined to me, and follow the directions of my Games supervisor; Seek assistance as needed from my Games supervisor or a 13AMG staff member; Wear the Games uniform (including accreditation pass and lanyard) provided to me at all times while on duty in a neat and presentable manner; Drive (if requested to do so) a 13AMG vehicle in a safe and responsible manner upon completing the necessary 13AMG vehicle paperwork; Not incur any debt or pledge any credit on behalf of 13AMG at any time without the approval of an authorised Games supervisor or 13AMG staff member; and Advise 13AMG of any situation that is unsafe or not satisfactory, or any tasks that I feel I am unable or uncomfortable undertaking as part of my duties for the 13 th Australian Masters Games. In return, I understand that 13AMG shall use all reasonable endeavours to provide: A safe and enjoyable environment in which to perform my tasks and duties; Training and supervision to enable me to carry out my duties as a Games volunteer; Recognition of my status as a volunteer, including benefits such as meals and uniforms depending on the nature of my volunteer role; and A mechanism to report any unsafe or unsatisfactory situations that I could be faced with. I acknowledge and agree that I undertake my duties as a volunteer for 13AMG at the Games at my own risk and have no claim against 13AMG, Australian University Sport (AUS), the Sport Committees or the SA Government for any loss suffered by me. I also acknowledge and agree that 13AMG reserves all its rights to supplement, amend or otherwise vary any and all Terms and Conditions, and policies and procedures that affect my role as a Games volunteer at any time and without notice. 13AMG also reserves all its rights to vary or change my responsibilities as a volunteer or withdraw its appointment of me as a volunteer at any time, without being required to show cause.
