NOTICE OF RECOMMENDED EDUCATIONAL PLACEMENT/PRIOR WRITTEN NOTICE (NOREP/PWN) Date Sent (mm/dd/yy): Name and Address of Parent/Guardian/Surrogate: School Age For LEA Use Only: Date of Receipt of Signed NOREP/PWN Dear : This is to notify you of the Local Education Agency s (LEA s) action regarding your child s educational program. 1. Although student has not met all standards established by the Pennsylvania State Board of Education for graduation from high school, the IEP team has determined that waiver of unmet standards is appropriate at this time and will not adversely affect his [her] readiness for post-secondary life. 4. A description of other options that the IEP team considered and the reasons why those options were rejected.
