Grant Funding Some grants require the local government to apply for and disburse funds to property owners. The local or State hazard mitigation planning group must review and approve all projects seeking Federal grants. A benefit/cost analysis is key for obtaining mitigation project funding. 46

SBA Loans Become available after federally declared disasters Low-interest loans to businesses and residents Provides funding for repairs, including compliance with applicable codes If flood damaged, flood insurance required regardless of fflood zone 54
