Cherokee Nation Health Services The 14-county service area of Cherokee Nation includes a network of eight health centers and one hospital. The facilities serve more than 130,000 eligible patients throughout the 14-county service area. Between 2009-2013, nearly 4.3 million patient visits CNHS accounts for approximately 8.4% of all IHS service volume Provides 39% of the medical care in the Oklahoma IHS Area FY 2013: 1.87 million RX written, 61 274 dental visits, 11 K new charts added, 25K Optometry visits 6

Develop a Data/Epidemiology division that will allow CN to produce, collect, house and publish CN specific data. Develop a virtual system to manage PH Performance & Quality improvement efforts. Develop and publish a guide to provide tribe specific examples and guidance to any Tribal Health Department/Tribal Nation interested in accreditation, A Tribal Roadmap to PHAB Accreditation.
