Please consult your Atacama stockist for assistance. Isolation spike and cone interface All Atacama speaker stands and all modular equipment supports use spikes and cones for isolation purposes. It is recommended that spike shoes are used to protect delicate floor coverings. Made in the UK Most Atacama products are designed and manufactured in house at our UK factory. Genesis Reference 7.0 ifi Support The Genesis Reference 7.0 is the ultimate Atacama ifi rack for when only the best will do! Starting with a base module, up to five further shelf modules can be added with a choice of 245mm, 195mm or 145mm heights allowing plenty of flexibility when configuring for a specific storage requirement. In order to give maximum performance, each module consists of a sonically dampened inner shelf panel supported within an outer sub frame via mini ASIST pads. To reduce vibration through the rack a dampening membrane has been interfaced between the inner and outer shelves and each leg is fitted with two ASIST gaskets as well as using a spike to cone interface thus maximising its sonic characteristics. This high density carbonised bamboo gives significant major sonic qualities when compared to traditional hardwood and veneered supports, with its unique micro growth pore structure offering both vibration absorbing and sound dampening properties. Each module is cut, finished and then polished by hand at the UK based Atacama factory giving this rack a stylish, modern appearance. Each module is then isolated from the next via three fully adjustable 8mm carbon steel spikes. To help further dissipate sonic resonance whilst reducing mass within each shelf, channels have been incorporated into the underside of each bamboo panel. Aurora Speaker Stands The brief was to design a speaker stand like nothing that had come before. It had to be able to compliment the latest speakers whilst co-ordinating with modern home interiors. It needed to have a designer style and still meet the demands of the audio enthusiast. Most importantly, it needed to appeal to those who feel that speaker stands should add interest to a room, not detract from it. So Atacama developed Aurora 6. The column is manufactured from a clear acrylic cylinder, whilst the toughened glass base plate is shaped like a tear drop. Cable management has been incorporated via the central chrome torsion tube allowing the speaker cable to be concealed, and sound dampening Atacama Isolation Gel pads are fitted as standard to the top plate. Atacama have also developed the A.S.I.S.T. Gasket (Atacama Sonic Isolation System Technology), one of which is fitted to each end of the Aurora acrylic cylinder. The A.S.I.S.T. Gasket eliminates resonance within the main column and also provides a secure interface for the top and base plates. The aesthetics of the Aurora are also clear to see from first glance. The acrylic column can be filled with just about anything you can think of, (with the exception of liquids or living things). The possibilities to colour co-ordinate with the surrounding décor are endless and once you get tired of the filling you have, you simply remove it and replace with something else.
